:thumb  :thumb  This was a really cool issue. I loved the appearance of the wreckers and them drawn by Don was excellent! I love the way he draws roadbuster, he looks awesome! I was a little disappointed on how fast Bludgeon fell. It seemed he was going to be super powerful boasting that they had the time to work the bugs out of the technology and the next thing you know..Bam down goes Bludgeon. I hope to see all the characters that appeared on the issue 2 cover next issue in a big battle against thunderwing, though that may be asking a lot. Simon, Don,Josh, and the rest of the crew keep up the great work!

maybe the book should just be lettered in cybertronian

oh wait..you dont know how to read cybertronian >____>

point in case, i take that what you read is like hearing what they're saying translated into english. i mean. if you wanna get to it, these aliens shouldnt even know english so....guess that means the story should be in cybertronian. but like i pointed out. nobody knows how to read cybertronian so.... we just get it translated so we can understand

words like "body bags" and such are just the english equivelant of whatever theyre saying in their own language

but then again thats just my take on it

I thought it was a great issue. I've loved this new universe from IDW since the beginning. This is certainly no exception.

I have no problem with the dialogue. Sure, they're using Earth slang when they [at least some of them] probably shouldn't know it. But I also knwo that if Furman had used or created some Cybertronian slang people would be complaining just as much about that. I just take it as... I know what these guys are talking about, I understand what they're saying... good enough for me, just move along with the story now. Yeah, I suppose I would have preferred some of the established slang to be used, but I'm not losing any sleep over it.

I just hope we see more of Bludgeon. There's been hints, I think, that Thunderwing is indeed alive and somewhat conscious underneath all that Pretender technology... just that he's being overwhelmed by it. The next issue will probably show him gaining more control. If that's true, then I see Bludgeon eventually doing the same. I hope so... his new form looks just as updatedly freakis as Thunderwing's. I'd love to see it in action.

But Megs was at a console in TFI, whereas he's got a VidWindow in front of him here...

Read the Shockwave one-shot, due this week! :)

Hmm...don't know if this was noted before, but I just re-read #3 here again yesterday. Looking at some of the artwork for Thunderwing in this issue, certain parts of it were familiar, namely on what I assumed to be the big cylindrical thrusters. The recognition led me to a small spoiler for #4.

If you look at the shot for combined covers, everyone assumed the huge purple bot with the pincer-like claws (on the part that is to be the cover to #4) was Scorponok (what with the two-toed feet and general color-scheme). It's not. That's Thunderwing somehow. The arms of the bot are the huge cylinders that are on Thunderwing's back in #3.

Hope I'm not re-stating what somebody already posted (although I didn't see it in this or the thread for issue #2).

I hate to disappoint, but the "Cybertronian script" shown in this issue was just Japanese Katakana.

I would like to thank Don for making Twin Twist look freaking BADASS.

More than makes up for the ham-fisted dimwit who drew him in the MTMTE profile books :cry

i kinda think furman is giving TT the short end of the dialogue stick. topspin has more lines thus far and TTs only dialogue bubble was with him tunneling with his ass to the reader.

i think you have to do a bit of lobbying.

Of course they are giving Topspin more lines.
He's the brains of the two of them while Twin Twist is the village idiot.

When I die, I want Twin Twist there to dig my grave. T'would be an honor.

I can't believe how much of an improvement Don made to Broadside. I want to see both of his alt modes now. I bet they rock also.

Why 4 numbers? ^^ This issue sure was fast. And assuming that Thunderwing is invencible how are the bots gonna stop him? It's like Armada. XD
