As we all know (those of us in the states) this Friday is "Black Friday" the traditional start of the Christmas shopping season. After I went to target today looking for classics, and being greeted with a wall of 72 Primus figures in the overstock area, I got to thinking what toys are stores stocking up on in advance of Black Friday? So far Ive seen the following: Target: 72 Primus figures plus 3 in the TF section (only seen at one store so far!) A couple of stores have had at least 30+ Han and Chewy SWTF figures, which if IIRC is being sold for ~$15 on Friday. TRU: One store had 58 Supreme Starscreams while another had approximately 30. Seems like stores are hoping these high priced figures will sell well this holiday season. From what Ive seen these large expensive figure only seem to sell marginally well unless they are heavily discounted.
