What is the return policy for Walmart(What I want from them is if I have something missing something and take it back, will it go back on the shelf.)

They'll ask if something is wrong with it. If you say "No" it will go back on the shelf. If you say "Yes" it will be returned to Hasbro.

i heard walmart is bad for this. i heard they DO put returned stuff back on shelves and sometimes don't even check it (the example: someone found an animated grilock box with a classics grimlock inside it.) and also, if YOU lost a part, why are you returning it? that's terrible.

I have actually seen things like this, but I wouldn't chalk it up to Wal-Mart's policy. I would say someone either didn't care to put in the proper bin or accidentally placed it in the wrong one. Also, I will agree that returning something just because you lost part of it is kind of a crappy thing to do. If it's broken or missing something when you open the package then that would be justified.

I think what he means is that it was missing a piece when he opened it...

Usually it's marked someplace at the cash registers and most of the time it only applies to smaller stores (not Walmart/Target/TRU/etc)

Theyll take pretty much anything back. I've taken a figure back and forgot to put the instructions back in the box. I never saw it on shelves and they took it back no problem..

I know for a fact that Wal-Mart will take back stuff you bought from other stores. My cousin bought a portable DVD player from Target, and like the moron he is, he plugged it into his car on the wrong voltage and fried it. He found out Wal-Mart carried that brand, took it to Wal-Mart, told them it was defective and that he lost his receipt. They gave him a brand new one.

Mind, I told him what an evil bastard he was for doing that, but he doesn't care for such admonitions usually.
