I went to two Walmarts today looking for my favorite glue, Devcon Plastic Welder

To my heartbreak, I couldn't find ANY....not even a spot on the shelves for it.

I asked a worker there at one of the Walmarts what was the deal with the Devcon being missing, and he informed me that they (Walmart) are no longer carrying it, and have replaced all Devcon brand products with Loctite brand products.

If you use this stuff, and you relied on Walmart to stock it for you, you might wanna go out and stock up on the goods just in case this is a chain wide ordeal.

i hear ya. a couple of weeks ago, i discovered they no longer sold it. the plastic weld is one of the top epoxies I use, along with Fusion plastic welder.

If you have a local HarborFreight store, they carry both brands. and have a big selection of epoxy glue.

Wow feels good to know I'm not the only one in the same predicament. Sucks thou, I drive about an hour(with traffic) just to get to the place and most of the time they haven't restocked either. And I live right next to Rockford,IL where Testor's is based. :throw

thanks Ano. I just bought all their Testor dull and gloss coats. they don't have a very extensive selection for paints, but the prices are good.

So I'm assuming you guys don't just use super glue right? How long does it take for this stuff to set, I'm actually getting fed up with using superglue on my recent projects.

I keep having to come back and put more on even come back to find a piece fell off but the superglue is still on the other part. And have to sand it all over again or abandon that part all together.
