I personaly suspect that Soundwave actually is the one lifting Megatron from the sea (the thing on Megatron's back), but I'd be okay if I was wrong.

anyway, i'm really glad Soundwave hasn't been shown yet. I am so pumped to see him on screen.

 

I am guilty for it more than a lot of people on this board, but I gotta say, kinda glad I haven't seen him becuase it will leave something as a surprise.

 

I can see sound wave being one of those money shots that will just make fan boys cream their pants so IMO its best kept under wraps

 

or soundwave could only have like a couple seconds on screen.. that is a posability. lol

 

A shot of a satellite floating in space is probably too boring for the quick moving action packed TV spots. Thats why he hasn't shown up in them.

I seriously am not going to get my hopes up for robot mode Soundwave in the movie. I hope I'm wrong.

 

this! from the sounds of the book he spends the entire movie plugged into a satellite and never even goes into robot mode once.

 

I'm going to be really anxious to see his earth mode although if kjeevah is correct there might not be an earth mode. Also does anyone else worry that his only toy will be the preview wave deluxe?

 

Lets see a movie that is over two hours long, filled with lots of robots this time, and you've only got about 30 seconds to a minute in a TV spot.

No deep dark conspiracy here it's just there is no way to cram every character into the trailers and TV spots so some characters will make it into the ads and some will not for no other reason than they just lack room.

 

I don't want to see him used for the promotional stuff. I have the Preview figure and he rocks my fragile little world in ways both subtle and gross. I am sure that seeing a fully animated, moving and interacting Soundwave on screen will do far more than that. I believe that we will see him on Earth. His lack of activity in the novel is meaningless -- things change.

 

In the book he stays in space so he most likely will not be on Earth.

 

just wait for the darn movie and you will know for sure..

Thats because he is only in it for exactly 10 seconds

 

I'd rather not see him until I see the movie. It makes me more excited about seeing it! I just hope he doesn't suck.

 

We might see him in space for the majority of the movie, but by the final battle in Egpyt, we shoulkd definitely see him then.

 

I have a bad feeling we won't see any Soundwave.
