Was thinking about that too. It looks like Crane may be in that one group shot, perhaps Scarecrow gets his gang to try and commit crimes dressed like Batman to get the heat turned up on him by the police?
I'm not crazy about the Joker either, but I guess he does look more psychotic. The Batsuit will take a few minutes to get used to. From all I have read, they changed the Batsuit to make it more practical as far as wearing it goes. The cowl in constructed off of a bike helmet or something now and much of the suit is made up of pieces over some type of fabric to greatly improve manueverability....or so I read.
I'm not feeling the Joker pics, but I have a feeling that it will be much better seeing it all in context. The way he applied his "lip makeup" with the big smile looks done so haphazardly that it could be an indication of just how completely insane the Joker is. I am really hoping that Heath plays him so insane that he is scary.
The Joker looks okay but I still think Boner from Growing pains did the best Joker impersonation I've seen so far in live action. The new Batsuit is supposed to allow for more movement than the previous one did. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about see Batman Dead End. That's how the joker should look.
You're probably right. In the first pic with the guy holding the gun and Batman holding up his arm, is the one holding up his arm actually Batman? His suit looks official, but it isn't the new suit - it looks like one of the suits from the last series of films. Is that the suit from the last movie, and perhaps he hasn't upgraded yet? Maybe one of the crooks got hold of an old official Batman suit? It looks like the same guy who is cutting up the van or whatever that is.
That bike rules. Imagine the rough terrain you could cover on that thing? Unless all those still shots are meant to be screen-cap type things, I'm almost thinking the group of Batmen are just like a big group of stunt doubles or something. But heck, if it's a vigilante group or a group set up to make Batman look bad, so much the better.
The Joker looks fine, and will look a lot better in the film with the proper lighting and grading done to the film and all that
I still think Mark Hamill should have played the Joker. He did, by far, the best Joker voice I have ever heard, and shown in the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, he can certainly give the voice of a dark, dark character. I'm not sure how he would have LOOKED as the Joker, but I think it could have been done. Paul Bettany should have been cast the play the Joker as rumored. I like Ledger, but I'm just not feeling his portrayal at all; he may pleasantly surprise a lot of people though.
I figured that those might have been stuntmen, and they were doing multiple unit work at the same location. Looks sweet, tho.
I really don't think those are stuntmen, why would one be holding a gun like that, and why do all of their suits look so different? Some look homemade, while others look a little more professional.
I aggree, they aint stuntmen, which I thought at first. All the suits are homedish, maybe some sort of vigilante gang for Batman. But Joker looks so god damn wicked crazy awesome. I hate that fake comic bookish crap, more into this realism Joker, they way I think he suppose to be. cant wait for this movie.
