OK. here's a question I don't think has been asked. I've been using stickers for my faction symbols up to now, but they sometimes don't look quite slick enough depending on the mold; they look like stickers (logical, really...).
What I'm wondering is who out there uses waterslides or both, and what are your thoughts?

 

I'm just transitioning to decals now...and I'll never go back to stickers. I think they look so much better...It's amazing what you can do, and you're not limited to faction symbols.

 

I just bought a couple of sheets of printable waterslide paper. It really does make a positive difference!

 

what is waterslide exactly?

 

A water applicable decal, its kinda like those fake tatoos you apply using water. I believe they call them water slides because you can slide them into position due to the water providing a cushion.

 

i vote for waterslide decals by far! it is so flat on the surface that it's seemless.

 

I have been using waterslide decals for several years no on my sports figures; they are 100x better than stickers as they give a completely flat appearance and look seamless with the surface they are applied on.

I am putting together a tutorial that I will post in the near future.

 

i'm sure that there were a couple of threads at some point from people selling pre-printed TF faction waterslide sheets...Frenzy Rumble is one of them (but I havn't gotten any responses from my PM and email)- any others out there?
