City Guardian? As in the Blue and white Omega Supreme Redeco? If so, I highly doubt it, as those things are E-hobby exclusives, aren't they?

Well I think once you open the box it will lower the value but not by much, So if the box is opened and the toy is stickered it really would not be a big deal as someone in the market for a open one as opposed to MISB should not care?

I like to leave them off in case i ever resell them.Imo it adds to the value if the stickers are still on the sheet.

If i need a faction symbol i just use a reprolabel.

Usually applying the stickers will decrease the value of a TF.

Unapplied can be a dealbreaker for me, only because I like doing them myself :D

Cutting the tape and opening the box does drop the value, but as a loose collector, stickers unapplied means more to me.

I'm glad you guys are disgussing this. Because lately I've been wondering if I could or should put stickers on my original g1 Sixshot and Metroplex. Both have unapplied stickers on the original sticker sheets. The figures look so dull without their stickers and I'd like to put some on, but I fear that it would pretty stupid to put the original stickers on after 20 years of them holding on to their sticker virginity. I mean that's a pretty rare thing. And I'd hate to see the value hit it took. How much value would putting reprolabels on them hurt?

Any thoughts? To stick, or not to stick... that is the question.

Well, do you plan to keep it? If so, put the stickers on. If you're just keeping a close eye on value, don't put them on (and probably don't open it either!).

Try not to sticker curved surfaces, where you have to bend the sticker to apply it. Curves like the barrel of Megatron's Gun attachements.

They will peel in a few years.

I'm guessing a lot of "stickers unapplied" bots have had stickers applied at some point and then removed for sale, with a new unused sticker sheet included. If you haven't had them in sunlight they won't bleach around the decal so who is to know. eBay sellers can be pretty unscrupulous to get a few extra $. My personal favourite are items listed as "resealed bubble", basically you got bits from here and there and made a whole. Isn't the point of buying a sealed vintage toy that it is all original, never been opened? You could seal in a well-worn bot that looks ok, which kind of misses the point surely?
