this sucks, I was a HUGE fan of his when he was playing for the Titans. Makes me very sad to hear this...and geez, this summer has been pretty eventful for deaths huh?

Wow that really does suck. He was a good quarterback when he was with the titans and did pretty good in baltimore also.

RIP Steve. I've been a huge Titans fan ever since they came to TN as the Oilers. I'm shocked more than anything.

I was blown away by this.. One of my all time favorites in the NFL, a southern boy and the real beginning of the scramble/run QB in the modern era. Sad, sad day.

RIP my friend, one of the greats :(

RIP Air McNair. I remember the year that the Jags were 14-2 and all 3 losses (AFC Championship in Jax) came to Air McNair and his TE release, Frank Wychek. That home game was the first loss of the season, pouring rain, nighttime and he drove the ball 96 yards to beat us at the last minute...

I don't know if this is true or not, but some guy told me lastnight it was some jealous woman that shot and killed him and that 20 yr-old woman.
