Jobs resigns as CEO of Apple; Cook takes over - Business - US business - msnbc.com
Watching it on CNN now. Poor guy. Best of luck to him and his family.
Health is going....
He gonna enjoy the lite time he has left.....
I hope he gets better
Soon to be replaced by either Steve Jobs Nano or Steve Jobs Touch. Kidding! Hope he gets better.
Guess the whole 'an apple a day' thing didn't work out for him.
Maybe he's going to create a new dance craze with the Steve Jobs Shuffle.
Dammit, I was gonna say this.
Well, if he did eat an Apple product a day, we discovered the problem.
I wish him well.
Time to whip out a relevant picture:
Yeah, it's real.
In a world where the technology and innovation continues to move further east from the United States (India, China, Japan), Apple has been a pioneer in new technologies and user-interfaces with their iPhone and iPad technology. To lose the visionary that is Steve Jobs is a huge blow to the company, who was basically nothing until he took over and shaped it in to the most successful American company in the world.
I hope his health improves, but it sounds like he resigned because he's beginning to see the end of his days are fast approaching. Very sad.
For the most part it was inevitable. But hes just stepping back a bit, not leaving the company all together.
For now. But if his health continues to decline, he will leave Apple completely. Very sad news, indeed.
He had a good run. If he ever comes back, cool. If not, oh well.
Kiss your Apple product today and give S.J. best wishes!
I love Apple!
Steve Jobs introduces he latest project: The "iQuit".
Does this make him Steve Job-less?
I'm predicting he'll be gone inside a year.
And if I'm right, all the sadder.
Looks like he needs a Job
In all seriousness, hope he gets better and that his sucessor leads Apple in the right direction.
