(Via #TRANSFORMERS 5 TLK on Twitter + rough translation)

Sadzid Husic und Steve Jablonsky kommen nach Salzburg

Sadzid Husic is known for his work on Game of Thrones music score.

And confirmed on Sadzid Husic als Komponist für Transformers 5 verpflichtet

    Rough Google translation:

Now it is so far everything is ready so filmmaker Michael Bay was referring to the filmmakers that the question of the composer come to an end is the 24 year-old Irish-Austrian composer Sadzid Husic was committed.

The production is supposed to cost about 10 million US dollars and recorded in Austria (I think).

Sadzid Husic was already in talk with Michael Bay in the begining of September: Transformers 5: Filmmusik zum Film soll in Österreich entstehen

Hey, german user here who can't sleep at 3am. lol
Let me try to translate (and summarize) these articles as accurately as possible:

So, this Sadzid Husic guy (worked for Hans Zimmer) is a composer for Game Of Thrones and after some talks with Michael Bay he now works on the Transformers 5 soundtrack in Salzburg, Austria.
According to Bay he's supposed to bring even more power to the soundtrack.
Fans of the previous movies who worry about to much change can relax because Steve Jablonsky is still there (and apparently he will bring back some familiar tunes?)!
At the end they were even talking about a CD release for the soundtrack (which supposedly costs the company 10 million US dollars), so let's hope it comes to that! :D

That's everything important I could find! I guess this new composer will primarily do the music for King Arthur and all the knight stuff (?).

There's no doubt that Jablonsky has done great work with transformers, his scores have inserted the depth and emotion missing from the scripts, but doesn't anyone else find the scores a little flat and artificial sounding, despite the quality of the melodies?

It's something I've always thought about but never been able to quite put my finger on!

Maybe if this is true, that's why they're bringing in another person(s) to collaborate with Jablonsky, I loved all the scores/soundtracks without question... but would agree the first is classic, the others have elements of the first that were repeated, which isn't crime, tho some would like something completely new with each movie..
If this fellow studied/worked with Hans Zimmer, then sounds like lots of potential here.
    Hopefully this will pan out.

Thank you! Some of the details skipped me. Apparently, the exact recording location is supposed to be hush, hush.

Wonder how the collaboration of two composers look like. Usually, there's only one name attached to the project.

Good, good. The score for the movies has always been excellent, and it looks like that trend will continue.

Really want Jablonsky to bring back that TF1 style to this movie. I loved the different tone the AOE soundtrack had, but I prefer his old style.

I had to write an essay today for my college English class and I listened to an "ultimate mix" of the first trilogy scores. I'm a fan of Jablonsky's work and I am glad to see him returning.

    There were melodies?
Ok, I listened to the sample track of the Husic guy, and just like Jablonsky it's just more generic action music...I won't even be able to tell who is who. Film music has been pretty humdrum for the last few years. The original Transformers (07) soundtrack, well, just like the others is bland. I don't want to make anybody mad, but if I hear another score with 16th note strings, loud echoed drums, and horn blast whole notes, I'm walking out. These scores don't need more power, they need more melodies, and counter-melodies. The TF:TM (1986) score, I think, is a masterpiece, a mostly electronic one, but its fantastic, with it's various melodic themes repeated in new and interesting ways throughout. Composers are no longer taking any risks, and it's a sad thing....soundtracks have turned into musical wallpaper.

Loved the AoE soundtrack! It was the first TF movie soundtrack I listened to separately after watching the movie.
