Over the last week Stephen Colbert made two jabs at Transformers. The first one being the perfect example of stupid movies and the other being how he hates change and thus hates Transformers.

Do you think Stephen Colbert should be involved in Transformers whether playing a human character (much like his Report alter-ego) or a Transformers himself? If so who?

Given the penchant for Bay TF movies giving bit parts to 'quirky' or comedic actors (Rainn Wilson, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong), I could see it. He could play some kind of anti-bot TV Pundit or govenrment dumbass (so basically what he's doing now), and/or voice a TF.

For TF4's anti-PC controversy, He and Steve Carell should voice the 'Ambiguously Gay Transformers'

I hate to say it but I feel he's a little too good for the bay series... (hides from the flames) Just hear me out the bay series do nothing to flush out characters and give them time to shine so really why waste him on what would be just a few one liners?

Now if he were to actually VA a character I cant really put a finger on who he could actually step in for but saying that I'd be game for him just getting his own character from fresh.

Only if the movies step up the quality. I'd hate for Colbert to be in a shitty TF movie, because I'd drag myself to see it.

People in the US need to stop using comedians for sources of intelligence. His show is witty, and he makes interesting observations, but he is far from educated in terms of economics and political structure. He panders to the uneducated for his humor, which is basically all humor on television. I like his show, but I find it nauseating when I see people use him as a source of "voice" and "reason". John Stewart is another similar character.

Both men are funny, but neither should be taken as a serious source of information.

 

TF: Prime Wreck-Gar if, for some reason, they visit him and Weird Al turns down the opportunity to "Dare to be Stupid."

Colbert would dare. And so can you.
