Considering we're on a message board for fans of TRANSFORMERS, that's f*cking hilarious...

The point is you could have googled or Wiki'd then semi-thoroughly researched Stephen Colbert in the two minutes it took someone to reply to you here. You returned 5 HOURS LATER for no other reason than to stamp your feet and express your insistence that other people should do what little legwork you could have done yourself in under ten seconds.

In future, don't come on any message board and expect people to just lay out answers for you. You have access to the same internet resources everybody else does, and the members of TFW are not your one stop shop of knowledge. In this day and age there is absoloutely no excuse for the kind of petulant insistence that we are to provide answers for you. In future I strongly reccomend that you research your own materials and form your opinions around those and save everyone here the headache of having to explain things for you.

It's just incredibly lazy and genuinely rude.

If you wish to continue this discussion, please PM me or the poster you wish to take issue with, any continuation of this in this thread will result in the poster being removed from the thread. Discussion of Stephen Colbert in Spider-Man may now continue.

I don't think so, no. I think Quesada is on record as saying that 616 is the same as our reality (do we have a number?), save that they have superhumans and we don't. That's why everything that happens in our reality happens there - all the various wars, terrorist attacks, etc. So the President of the United States of America in Marvel 616 is George W. Bush, the Prime Minister of Canada is Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of the UK is Gordon Brown, etc. (It just so happens that in 616, you've also got Wakanda, Latveria, Atlantis, etc.)

I haven't read Spidey due to OMD but I might check this out, as Colbert is possibly the only thing on TV I will watch now, excluding Its Always Sunny and Scrubs.

No, The current president in the regular universe is not George Bush. The president has been shown various times during Civil War. The Ultimate universe is the one that is politically up-to-date.

I'd love to see Colbert as the President in the Marvel Universe. Does this mean Tek Jansen and the Rampaging Colbert will also show up in the MU? Perhaps in the Incredible Herc and Guardians of the Galaxy?

    That's not my understanding.
See here (Colbert is still in the running for the U.S presidency, but so are the "real" candidates).

And this video is even more specific.
