I said wow @ this thread.

I also fear for deceptifocus' grip on reality.

Colbert is one of the funniest people on TV, I support his run for President in that country that Canada sits on.

You got an answer, the answer was "Quit being lazy and look it up yourself", you just didn't like the answer. TFW ain't ya private army (or researchers).

so i guess forums are worthless than as it is a bunch of ppl asking questions? i should go into every thread and reply, "you do realise your on the internet, look it up"

i dont want to know the dudes life history, or jack the thread over the fact that someone called me lazy and yet in turn was lazy, and 5 other ppl responded with "ZOMG he typed stuff" I DID look him up and I still dont know they guy, as in hes a nobody to me with a cable show, which was the intent of my original post, i just love the dudes that add nothing to the thread or help ppl and respond with "look it up" answers

Anyway, sounds like the books gonna suck, they should be working on a way to fix spidermans life and everything go back to normal once again without all this brand new day shiat. Tv made from comics, and comics made from TV....with the exception of some of Smallville, not a good idea. Also i dont like the "taking a political side" for a comic. But again i dont has the cables nor do i want to watch a whole bunch of shows ive never heard of and know nothing abt to charcterize someones political agenda, so i dont know his.

Didn't read the story or the thread did ya sport? IT'S AN EIGHT PAGE BACK UP STORY!!! It's likely as important to the Spidey story as a Spiderman Hostess Fruit pie ad, and just as easily dismissed.

Ok to help a bit. Marvel isn't pushing Colbert's "political agenda" nor his "beliefs and opinions". Colbert isn't a Bill O'Reilly type, he's a parody of that type of tv pundit. It's comedic. The cross over into the Marvel universe is purely something fun to bridge the gap from the fictional Marvel universe and our real world.

    Or is it....

First: that Stephen / Spidey graphic is wonderful.

Second: if you really need to come to understand Stephen Colbert, go to colbertnation.com. On that site, you (if you are in the U.S - maybe elsewhere, I don't know) you can watch every episode that ever aired, or just clips. Search for clips for "truthiness," "wikiality," "wikilobbying," "green screen challenge," etc. He's funny - and a true American hero. That's why Steve Rogers willed him one of his shields and why it hangs in Stephen's studio now. (And I think Bucky is doing a great job taking over as Captain America.)

Proably the first good Spidey news we've gotten in years.

Not gonna buy it though. Why pay when I can read it in the store for free? :D

Since the US President can be whoever they want in comics (seeing as how Lex Luthor was president in the DC universe), who thinks Colbert will be the Marvel President of the US?
