BBC News - Valve's online game service Steam hit by hackers

Dunno if this is old news, but those pesky hackers are at it again, this time they hacked Valves Steam, and well, got pretty much everything it seems.

    Check your bills!

Thank God I haven't put any Credit Card info on Steam. I downloaded it but hardly use it, I should just uninstall it.

Should I be worried? I don't have much on my Steam account, and all the purchases were made through paypal onto a credit card. They can't get credit card information that way, right?

Keep in mind that unlike Sony, Valve actually encrypted people's credit card numbers.

I hope my account will be fine. I did use my debit card on it recently.

At least Valve can own up to this type of shit, not like the scumbag who runs TFSource. What ever happened to TFSource and their inability to prevent fraudulent activities?

This. Keep an eye out, but don't panic. The amount of encryption on their files, it'd take lifetimes for them to get one single digit, or so I've been reliably informed.
