Not sure if it's been discussed before as I haven't watched all the video reviews, but I found what I think are Stealth Force modes for DOTM DLX Bumblebee & Sideswipe. Those modes don't appear anywhere in the instructions.

    BUMBLEBEE

Those pieces under the roof, they're shaped like cannons and have no function in robot mode.

    SIDESWIPE

See the tab holes under the front bumper in front of the wheels? They serve no function in car or robot mode.

If you fold out the arms, you'll notice tabs on the forearms.

Similarly, Crankcase's pincers are overlooked in the instructions but they're clearly meant to be used as weapons in vehicle mode. Same with Roadbuster's weapons on the back of the car. I wouldn't be surprised if more DOTM toys had hidden Stealth Force modes.

Neato. Great find, man! I've always liked the whole 'Stealth Force' angle, and I'm glad to see it's seeping into the mainline toys.

BB's gun even lets him match that trailer look...

I'm so glad that mainline figs can do some Stealth Force above and beyond "peg on their MechTech gun."

Christ, that's the first time I've wanted that Sideswipe. Though Sidearm can have a non-movie accurate SF mode with his pistols. Really, only thing wrong with that mold is no swords.

Would be cooler if they looked better though.

BB having the whole back section of the car lifted up like that is a bit ridiculous.

Technically, you can also lift up the hood piece on BB and attach 2 more guns to the front piece.

You can do the same on Sideswipe.

Weapons added to Roadbuster (you HAVE to detach the arms from the body to access the MechTech ports) plus integrated weapons folded out.

Weapons added to Ratchet's fold out panels.

LOL forever at the Roadbuster isn't film accurate crowd. Maybe not perfectly accurate, but that looks pretty goddamn weaponed-out.

Very very cool find. I can now see how much deeper Hasbro designers were going for playability.

What's even more shocking, and you can pat yourself on the back for this, you have found something that the Reviewer powerhouses have yet to tap into. You always hear "I have yet to figure out why these ports are on his back". It's because they are not meant to be used in robot mode!

This is awesome. I love it when fans find this stuff. And love it more when Hasbro sneaks it in.

What's funny for Sideswipe is that I was attemping my own Stealth Force-like mode until I realized the arms were really meant to lock there.

It will never be as bad as when Peaugh and I were trying to figure out how to transform ROTF Soundwave without the instructions back then... :)

Me too! And here I thought I was the first one to discover this....

These secret modes are really fun! It makes me wish that the mechtech weapons were a more uniform color so that they looked more interchangeable.
