Meh. Transformers that do not transform are not Transformers... What a huge waste of shelf space. Same goes for Action Masters...

 

Nice. Finally stealth force Hound can have a partner more in scale. Hound is notably larger than every vehicle in the basic series right now.

Hound, Big Hoss and Barricade. So far those look like the best. Just noticed Hoss is from the $15 price point inferno came in. Those have starcom like motors. That could be neat. I mean even inferno is fun to watch unfold the cannon panels.

Secret Raiders that will neutralize.

His package should have a burning map design in the background.

Big Hoss is a pretty "WTF?" name, but awesome in it's way. Just one step away from "Boss Hawg" now... though he may step on Big Daddy's toes just a little.

I can't complain about the name, because at least it's not "name of G1 faction" (Dinobot, Insecticon) or "verb + misspelled suffix -OR added" (Tankor, Demolishor, Stinkor, Ninjor, etc). Yay.

But when all is said and done... no robot mode = NOT a transformer. For this reason alone, Stealth Force really does suck. It's sort of like Action Masters in reverse.

I thought these sucked as well, not goign to get them more than likely, but I played with Soundwave and Hound last night while waiting on my gf after work, the gimmick is really neat.

Now if they could make fully transformable figures that could do the same thing.

 

Yeah, I said the exact same thing to Shockscream yesterday ironically enough. It's like all the best gimmicks of those 80s lines coming back in one shape or form.

I wonder if "Big Hoss" is a "We couldn't get the trademark" replacement for Dirt Boss...

 

Wondering if this is an "in your face" homage to Big Hoss on the History Channel's Pawn Stars because the guy who wanted to sell his Transformers collection for 20k only got offered 5k for it when the "expert" on the subject walked in and dropped his jaw to the floor seeing multiples of every G1 figure including 3 Fort Maxs.

When they got back to the store Chumley prob told him what was up and Big Hoss being around the age of probably most G1 fans prob bitched at Rick about only offering what he did for all of them on this one. Rick realizing his mistake offered to buy him his own Transformer in exchange for his failure.

...thus was born...Big Hoss!

I also believe that the guy in that auction actually sold it for more than his initial asking price on an eBay auction. I think I remember seeing it as a featured link on this site.

 

You know what would have made Stealth force a great line? If they were seperate limbs for PCC.
