What is with these guys lately? They used to be my go-to guys for preorders - I'm rethinking that now. I've had DL Ravage on preorder for months along with DL Blaster. Not only have they not shipped my Ravage (which they have had in stock for over a week now), but they haven't shared anything about Blaster being canceled or refunded me for it, and haven't answered any of my emails about it.

One thing is for sure - I WILL NOT preorder from anywhere that charges before it gets in stock EVER AGAIN.

I completely agree with you. I've stopped placing pre-orders with them and have switched over to BBTS.

I sent them emails asking questions, and I never got answers - ever. Their customer service is lacking lately.

TFSource's policy of not allowing preorder cancellations makes me a BBTS customer. I rarely preorder stuff, but it's nice to know if in a few months my financial situation tanks, I'm not obligated to buy toys.

    What was the fiasco?

What fiasco? BBTS usually gets things at the same time if not sooner than everyone else. So they had City Commander later than TFSource. I think it's because TFSource had them sooner because they have an agreement with FP with the Superion ad-on coming soon.

BBTS for some reason didn't get their first shipment of city commanders in until TFsource managed to get their SECOND shippment in.....most of us who preordered with bbts just went ahead and bought from tfsource

    LOL. Fiasco.

BBTS got their City Commanders two weeks after TFSource. Big deal. If I recall correctly, BBTS got their MP Grimlocks two weeks before TFSource.

Besides, I thought it was common knowledge that BBTS gets their Takara stuff before TFSource and TFSource gets their third party stuff before BBTS.

Whoops, I typed one too many "o"s. I know the difference, but thanks for the unneeded grammar lesson.

Annoying, sure, but not exactly a fiasco... Seems pretty clear TFSource has an arrangement with FansProject. What can ya do? At least one had the option to cancel with BBTS and order from TFSource if they felt it necessary.

Someone needs to learn the meaning of the word "fiasco".

This is obviously NOT a fiasco.

Well, I have had excellent customer service with them answering e-mails...granted I contacted them to add an item to my preorder and to fix my accout info, so I hope that the customer service doesnt go away once I am supposed to receive my items.
I wish I knew about their dwindling customer service issues before I placed the order back in October...

BBTS and TFsource both have flaws. I'll order from both depending on which one has a cheaper price. It's that simple for me 'cuz I've never had too much of a problem with either.

So when a place that doesn't charge you for pre-orders gets your TOY two weeks later, it's a fiasco? Imagine if they scammed you for money!!

I rarely get stuff from places that require you to pay up front for pre-orders, since it's much easier to do so in places that require payment when the order is in. Isn't it borderline illegal [at least in the US] to charge for items you don't have in hand?

If I have the money in hand and want to buy something that's coming out later, I'd rather pay up front since who knows if I'll be able to afford it when it comes in stock. On the other hand, if money is tight now I like to preorder from BBTS so I have time to save up for it, and I can cancel if for some reason I won't be able to save in time.

Both systems have their pros and cons.

The only fiasco was guard convoy's dozen posts a day for a week straight whining about his BBTS preorder going unfilled while TFsource customers were posting photos of their new City Commanders.

My pre-ordered city commander is in my pile of loot at bbts... whats the prob? Tfsource got it first, I still got one, no big deal right?

and Spelling is not the same as Grammar.

I see it on the internet all the time Loose is Lose... except that it's not.
