Not sure if this belongs in this category or in the General Discussion one...but...I thought I'd share with you the Halloween costume and pinewood derby car that my son & I built within the past few months.

    SW costume
    [ATT]3423[/ATT]
    Pinewood Derby car
    [ATT]3424[/ATT]

BTW his car finished 1st out of 5 cars...and the costume sent me to the ER to get 6 stitches:eek: (razor knives are such wonderful things).

MODs, please forgive me if these pics don't work...all this new-fangled computery stuff confuses me quite easily.:drunk

Sweet pinewood and costume. I did a pinewood a couple of years ago for my daughter based of Hot Rod.

Those are both brilliant! I'm baffled by the Buzzsaw, though - it looks like you've actually got a large-sized Buzzsaw in a clear plastic case of some sort - right down to the rubsign! What did you do there?

hehe...yea!!! If you fold him in half he becomes a greeting card.:lol

But on a more SERIOUS note...due to an incident with a glue stick poor Lazerbeak has become permanently attached to SW.

Actually I just scanned my Lazerbeak cassette as a jpeg and then upsized him & tweaked his lines with "Photofiltre". The case was one of the hardest parts to find. I eventually found (of all things) a pot-holder weaving loom at the local dollar store. Its clear packaging was the perfect size for the case.

And YES, I was bored, I made the pot-holder!!:p

Cool. I remember the pine wood derby. I only ever did win 3rd place once, and oddley enough, with a PT Cruiser shaped car. It's bound to be around here somewhere. My father probably has it stored somewhere.
