    Well the problem has been fixed now. If there wasn't a problem to start with then they would have been up and running a while ago.

    A massive particle accelerator that they hope will unlock secrets of the universe and how it works. Maybe even find dimensions beyond those we know.

    Staunch advocates believe it's harmless and has the ability to unlock human potential.

    There are groups filing petitions, lawsuits, etc to keep it from being activated because they believe it's possible to open up a black hole (larger than the ones they'll be experimenting with) or create strangelets (also known as dark matter, which I'm still not quite understanding...)

    Personally, I believe absolutely nothing will happen. They'll flip the switch and a circuit breaker will go. (that's about the only exciting thing that will happen.)

    No man knows the day, nor the hour of when the end is coming. It most certainly won't be this machine's doing.
