My simple suggestion is: Some balsa wood, and some insulation foam. If you have any kicking about, and some tools, you can make some amazing stuff.. Great work on the piece! If you do want to work on some foam, I might suggest getting a foam cutter from a craft store to help make even lines. They cost about $12.00, and the foam sheets cost about as much, but it is worth it considering how big they are. If you can't get the foam sheets, I might suggest the packing foam that people get in electronics or other boxes. You can get all sorts of fun and funky shapes that way. Think of the throne as a jumping off place. You've done one project, now you can expand to either making an upgraded piece with some of the ideas people throw at you, or you can make bigger and better things. This is inspiring me to jump back on my projects, I've got an Ark and Mt. Saint Hillary to finish.
Thanks Yah balsa wood sounds good. I can't start on any new projects right now but I'll post when I have it done
