So at the end of movie one Starscream , reverts back to "protoform" mode to leave earth, in ROTF, do you think he will take back on his F-22 raptor mode? Or go with something new, this could lead to a new body design, among a new toy. I really cant see him coming back to earth and taking on the F-22 raptor mode again...... anyways the floor is yours, id love to hear your thoughs.

Uhhhh.. he didn't revert to protoform state at the end of the movie. He still retained his f-22 alt mode in both the sequal mini and the new prequal mini.

Yeah, he doesn't revert back to protoform mode. He just blasts out of Earth's atmosphere.

Wow, is that even possible? then again, I hevnt got around to reading the movie comics....... I just dont see how its possible that an f-22 could go that far out in space then again with "alien" "force fields" who needs it.

He's not a real F-22, just an alien robot that looks like one.

It's not possible, but then again, it's not an F-22, it's Starscream. Big difference.

This and yeah in real life it would not be possible but it did burst on flames oh and a thing that makes any logic sense of this is starscream is made of cybertronian metal so it can handle it no matter what alt mode?!?!?

So are you saying Starscream is a real F-22 bound to the real world limitations of an F-22?

No, I'm just saying people will rationalize the movie however they want. If a person is going to argue for Starscream being able to fly into space on a whim over vast light years back to his home planet in a short time span, then that person should also respect other people arguing for "mass shifting" - esp when that is exactly what the Allspark did. Its very subjective what people say is realistic and what they believe is too un-realistic. For instance, someone in another thread said that deep bass voices are the only type of voices suitable for robots. He made that leap himself yet many of us here could easily see robots with varying voices. Its futile to talk about "reality" when you're talking about a genre such as science fiction or fantasy.

This is something very important to note. Starscream's alt mode isn't a F-22, it is a cybertronian jet disguised as a F-22. Thats why its faster, more agile and can travel into exoatmospheric conditions.

That Cube is a Magical Plot Device, though. Magical, Mystical. You know, like the Creation Matrix or the Autobot Matrix of Leadership or Vector Sigma, or the Cyber Planet Keys. They do crazy, impossible things because they're related to Primus in some manner.

Audiences usually take improbable magic objects doing improbable magic things in their stride, but it may be pushing it when say, a character that is taller than a 2-story house manages to shrink to the size of a microcassette recorder effortlessly.

Besides, Reign of Starscream, Starscream actually flew back to Mars, and told Thundercracker that their own abilities allowed the Transformers to not be limited to the original capabilities of the disguise they have adopted... hence Starscream not exploding when he was hit by a missile. A real F-22 would have exploded in a fireball if hit by the same missile.

Yeah. Just like Optimus Prime isn't limited to the durability of a Peterbilt, or crashing down on the street several times would have resulted in a lot more damage.
