The added wings with the "bulkier" look give the figure more presence. Fantastic work! What did you do to combat the ever problematic paint rub on the joints?

Thanks! The hands are from an RG Strike Gundam.

Though I kind of liked the new wing design in RID, I just couldn't let the G1 wing look go, so I combined them both. Thanks! The paint rub on the leg hinges aren't so problematic. THe ball joints though are kind of tricky. The hip ball joint paint rub is fine with me since it's a part that can't be seen anyway, but for the elbows, I used gundam real touch markers which kind of stain the plastic itself so it doesn't get rubbed off so easily.

Nice job! I thought this was the Power Surge Starscream for a moment there until I saw the balljoint elbows. Great work!

Thanks for the heads up on the markers. Might have to try that on a custom I'm currently working on.

Thanks! The dragon dagger was just an item lying around that needed to be painted. XD

This is such an excellent custom! May I ask, how did you attach the Classics wings to his body?

Thanks! I used the attachment part of the classics wing itself, that rhombus shaped part that has two pegholes in them. I just clipped off the pegs but the rhombus itself snugs into the wing just right. I attached that part to the RID wings, so that makes the G1 wings removable in bot mode and can be placed under the alt mode.
