Was this ever released before? I have read that it was a TRU exclusive, and it has a pending international release, but was it ever released stateside? I saw a pick, and I really like the paint apps. Was this paint app the same as the Galaxy Force version?

Its still really easy to find all over the British Isles, in fact, I saw about seven sets in TRU about a week ago.

I think it was released here in the States but I'm not sure. I got mine from one of my semi-reclusive relatives that we hadn't heard from in a year or so and this present appeared out of the blue last Christmas. Until then, I wasn't aware that the 2-pack existed.

Picked it up last year at TRU.com. Great figure, but it's not in the show colors.

The two-pack Starscream was Thrust-coloured. Everything that was grey on GF Starscream was a deep brown-ish red, and all the red paint apps were silver. And because of a different type of plastic used for the swords/cockpit, they were smokier, and not crystal-clear.

The Vector Prime was the same as the normal Cybertron release, so white, deep reddish brown, and missing a bunch of gold paint compared to the GF version.

Thanks for the input, guys. I just purchased a GD-03 and am awaiting it in the mail, and I was trying to decide how different this one was from it. Thanks again.

    One more question about GD-03:

I was just looking at Remy's gallery, and I noticed he had batteries. Is it just a similiar light and sound effect as the Supreme Starscream from Cybertron?

He has no electronics whatsoever. Seems that it might have been a feature axed somewhere down the line, but the figure still retained the battery storage.
