He didn't create them. The Quintessons and Earthlings did.
Quintessions contributed to the personalities on Cybertron, humans invented the military vehicles back in the war.
Starscream was just a conduit between the two.

Uh that's like me donating blood and the person who administers it to the receiver saying they gave the receiver life... or saved it.

    Anyways, a Quint-Decep-Earthling created Decepticons.

So did Megs give the Stunticons life or did Victor Segma?

Yes, I remember how the tide of World War II was changed by the invention of the space shuttle.

Given that Starscream managed to (somehow) magically turn three of the five scrapped military vehicles into completely different vehicles (and significantly tweak a fourth) when making the Combaticons, I'd say he contributed a hell of a lot more than humans did. Humans may have provided a wrecked tank, fighter plane, half-track troop carrier and bomber but it took Starscream to make them into a fully-functional different kind of tank, a helicopter, a missile truck and a space shuttle.

Saying humans contributed more to the Combaticons, because they supplied some of the basic parts and raw materials, is like saying the grocery store contributes more to a dish than the chef who prepares, seasons and cooks it.

Without the person giving it to them, they would die. Without them, all you have is a person needing blood and a bag of blood. I'd say the person that brings the two together is quite integral to the saving of that life.

depends on your defintion of the word.

there is no evidence the Quints had anything to do with their creations

I repeat, there is no evidence the Quints had anything to do with their creations.

The creation of Bruticus was around LONG before the Quints were even thought up, not to mention the Quint creation theory is kind of convoluted because of how other "new" Transformers were created in seasons 1 and 2, such as the Dinobots (granted, they were morons, but the Autobots outright built them and gave them life), the Stunticons/Aerialbots (Vector Sigma), and the Constructicons (which is some kind of time paradox between them and Megatron in who built who first).
What Scantron said. Looking at the individual alt. modes of the Combaticons, not ONE was around in 1943 or whenever Guadalcanal took place:

Leopard I tank (Brawl) - invented in West Germany during 1965
Kaman Aerospace SH-2G Super Seasprite helicopter (Vortex) - Designed for the U.S. Navy in the 1980's.
Space Shuttle (Blast Off) - 1981.
FMC XR311 (Swindle) - A limited production prototype vehicle for the U.S. army that was first in service during 1970.
Onslaught's Alt. mode doesn't actually exist, but that half-track troop carrier sure didn't look like it had giant anti-aircraft guns on it.

Seriously, you're trying to come up with answers to a nearly 30-year old cartoon that has NO RELEVANCY anymore. The whole creation of the Combaticons has in fact been retconned quite a few times, most recently in the "Wings of Honor" story where they were originally Autobots that turned traitor.

No, because that implies there's other ways they could've been brought into existence.

Starscream built the combaticons, they were not combiners before.

But one thing i dont understand why Megatron removed the personalities from the Renegade Decepticons if they were an elite force?

    Oops, sorry:eek:

The way I interpeted the "creation" of the Combaticons is that Starscream just went to the Decepticon mail office/personality component storage facility, took five random personality components (which could probably be retconned into sparks somehow), then shot at the other little holding units to cover his tracks. It's quite possible the Combaticons didn't even know each other, or at least were part of the same team, before being brought to Earth by Starscream. After all, Swindle seems more like a guy who would rather deal with the black market like Octane as opposed to being stuck with the mental cases that are the other Combaticons.

I also think Megatron didn't throw the five back in the prison cell place after they took over Cybertron for all of five minutes is because they were now a combiner team, and Megatron loved his combiners.

It is kind of interesting that Megatron choose to keep them in a Decepticon P.O. box. "That's right folks! If you're a fan of the Renegade Decepticons, just send your fan mail to P.O. Box 217 in Decepticon headquarters on Cybertron!"

Wait weren't the combaticon's originally "war criminals" who's personality chips were separated from their bodies on Cyberton by Megatron?

Mind you that we don't know what their original bodies looked like but they were obviously some type of military based Cons.
