What's going on here?
Can anyone please explain?
Is there supposed to be something odd about the clip? I don't get it. It's just as Screamer goes to kick Megatron in the movie. Upside-down faction symbols? I dunno. What are we supposed to be seeing?
I dunno. Looks fine to me.
If you were really pushing it, you could claim that Starscream's canopy in his chest could look like a giant erection. But that would be pretty weak.
Whoa, corrected canopy colors.
Oh I know! I just notice, it's kind of hard to say.... but I think he the has an Autobot logo rather than the Decepticon one.
his chest has been color-corrected. in the movie, the entire center section of his body is the same color as his canopy. it has been changed to the proper gray in this clip.
I didn't remember where this clip was from specifically (though it did look rather nicer than most of the TV animation, so I should have known it was from the movie).
So in other words, we weren't looking for something off about it, but rather looking for something that wasn't wrong with the image.
Blimey. So we'd need to have been aware of that single animation error out of how many? I feel so stupid for not noticing that nothing was wrong...
And here I thought it was going to be a joke that he somehow appears to be given it hard to Megatron while saying "how do you feel mighty Megatron?!".
No it's a DEC symbol, it jut moves fast, you can pause it though.
Am I to assume you don't have the foresight to see the implications of this clip?
...that someone's color-corrected a fairly uncomplicated set of areas on a few dozen frames of a 20-year-old animation?
I mean, yay for them and all, and I'm sure they had fun doing it, but I can't see it having any more impact than a couple of message board posts here and there. Even if someone went through the entire '86 movie and fixed every single animation error, it's not as if it would get a DVD release.
of course it wouldn't get a dvd release, but who needs a dvd release if it's dvd quality?
So it's a short video of "being" under Starscream's impressive rack, huh?
