You know that big giant version of him?
Well, I think they should remake him because next to Optimus Prime, Starsaber is bad ass.
Like the same size as the giant version of him but can move around well and can transform in to that giant ship of his.

At the very least a reissue would be nice, since I don't have and never will have an original.

I don't have it either but I've seen it and I guess a reissue could work to but I rather see a better version of him still.

Hell yes. I have been watching Victory the past few weeks and have been thinking about that. Either a reissue so I can get them misb and uncombined loose, or the classics/generations treatment for some sweet articulation.

    I like my Star Saber...

Check out how big he is when combined as Victory Saber! However, a updated version would be nice. I'm done with reissues... give me new figures with modern day articulation!

He really does need a new figure. I would finally be able to say that I have Star Saber, since my chances of getting a G1 Star Saber are pretty much zero at the moment. :(

His size alone pretty much guarantees that it'll never happen. Not to mention that if one were to be made, it's more likely to just be a Takara release and Hasbro probably wouldn't bring it over.

Unless they could get something together with Shout Factory if/when they bring Victory over on DVD.

That said, I have the KO Robot Masters version of Star Saber and Victory Leo and I would not object to having a legit toy, regardless of size. Could combine into Victory Saber and be Voyager or Ultra-sized and I'd be fine.

Normally when proposed remakes come up, I'm all for keeping them their original size... like, if they ever gave us a new Overlord, I'd want him to be at -least- Ultra sized. And I'm still disappointed that Botcon Skyquake is a deluxe (even though I like how he turned out).

But, I would actually be able to accept Star Saber and Dessaras as something smaller. And while I realize we did get a small Star Saber in the Robotmasters line, I don't like that one. It's -too- small, and it has the same (bad) articulation as the original. I want an athletic Star Saber, not some dude who can only move his elbows.

Heh, I was just playing with the RobotMasters version last night (which I love to pieces) and debating weather or not to do the leg mod.

A new Star Saber, preferably Classics-style, is right at the top of my list of demands.

i agree with a new generations style treatment needing to be applied to Star Saber and Victory Leo. gotta have the combining gimmick intact after all.

the only Star Saber i own is the Candy Toy/ Kabaya one which came out recently. hes pretty nifty but definitely suffers like his bigger counterparts from limited to no articulation. and this version pretty half-assedly transforms too. i like him but an update is much needed in a larger size class.

Wouldn't the character you pictured be Victory Saber? :p

I'd love to see an updated version of him....since I don't see it happening soon, may have to make my own ;)

Yeah a Classics/Generations version would rock. I bought the Kabaya one recently, just because I NEEDED a Star Saber but classic treatment now please.

An updated Star Saber would be awesome. The name's relatively known in the US thanks to Armada, maybe we'll see a Deluxe one in Generations? I could accept that if he has his sword and looked close to the original.

I'd love to see that :)

I just wish they would stop with ROTF and aim on transformers like Star saber/Victory saber that deserve a good toy.
