Not enough of this genre on consoles anymore.

It's kind of a mix between RTS, Third Person Shooter, and even some very light Tower Defense

Get to GameStop and get a used copy now! ($7-$10) I'm doing you a favor, here.

I love Warhawk and I still play it every now and then. I'm glad it and Starhawk are PS3 exclusives.

Glad that something is platform exclusive.

    Platform exclusives are awful things.

Agreed. I would love to play Warhawk or Uncharted, but I'm not buying a PS3 just for the pleasure.

Got to have something to differentiate. Why would you have the same games, but have two different systems that do the exact same thing? Exclusives create differences between platforms to draw interest. It's capitalism... do something different than your competitor that only you offer as to create an interest in your product.

Yes, they are good for console makers, but that doesn't mean they are good for consumers. Besides, consoles can be differentiated via other means. I wouldn't consider XBL or PSN to be identical offerings.

I can see your point. I guess it just doesn't bother me. I like having stuff Xbox can't get. ;)

I have both systems but I sure as hell would like a world where I can play Zelda, Gears and Uncharted on one system. Saves money, space, and sanity. Shit, Imagine is Sega decided to jump back into the fray again ><

Then all we could argue about is why Gears is better than Halo.

Ignoring the console exclusives debate (no offense), I think this game looks awesome. I never got the first game, but the demo was rather enjoyable. Plus, mechs already make the game good to begin with, and along with great gameplay it can be simply amazing.

I also find it hilarious that every time I play a sci-fi video game, I think "it would be better with a mech" and then a sequel comes out with a mech. First Gears 3 with the Silverback, then Blacklight F2P with the Hardsuit, and now Starhawk with the transforming hawks. If I asked for a mech in Uncharted, would I get one? I doubt it, but one can dream.
