Assortment Info for Star Wars Transformers Wave 6 - Transformers News
The V-wing TF might look cool. I hope it turns out better than the V-19, doesn't look like the V-19 has good arm articulation.
Is that 3 new molds, plus another Jedi Starfighter? At least they shelfwarm a bit, giving my wallet time to breathe.
Why case multiples of the STARFIGHTER mold again? Geez, how many times are they gonna milk that mold....
That looks like 2 new molds if you don't consider the V-19 a new one.
The Darth Vader / Tie Fighter is old, as well as the Jedi Starfighter, assuming it's the same one that has been used quite a few times already.
AT-TE and the V-Wing are new as far as I know. I haven't seen anything announced for them before this.
Glad to see this line still getting new stuff in it, even though the bot-modes totally blow. I like little Star Wars vehicles on my desk
EDIT: The Vader / Tie Fighter mold is new if it is indeed a flat wing Tie Fighter. His previous Tie Fighter mold was the "Advanced" Tie Fighter.
I think a vast majority of transformer fans are growing weary of this series, it needs to be put to rest and alternators brought back.
Eh, the whole line of SW:TF is mediocre, but Plo Koon I might get, my favorite jedi
Hasbro, put this stuff to pasture and put even more energy into Universe.
I wonder what Yoda would transform into.
I like the idea of this line but I've only bought a few. The V-19 sounds interesting. But I agree this toy line had run it's course.
It's time for a GI Joe Crossover line...NOW!!!!
2x Plo Koon to Jedi Starfighter
AGAIN WITH THIS MOLD?
I'm looking forward to the at-te and the v-19.
i'm just waiting patiently until Ultra Class Star Destroyer to Thrawn, and Ultra Class Home 1 to Ackbar.
this is my ideal line up.
I doubt the cancellation of this line would benefit Universe in anyway other than freeing up some shelf space in toy isles.
Probably into the escape pod he used to evacuate Kashyyyk. Or maybe Luke's Dagobah-gunk-covered X-wing? That could be a cool new mould
I've often thought of Leia as the Tantive IV, I've just got little idea how to work it, although was thinking the bridge assembly would split off so well into the hairpieces she wore in ANH. Failing that, Leia in Endor assault gear to a Speeder Bike, or, the ultimate, Jabba's Sail Barge into Slave Leia
She'd top Blackarachnia's TM2 metal bikini anyway.
As a Star Destroyer, though, I'd rather see Pellaeon or Piett than Thrawn. Remember, the Chimaera was Pellaeon's, and Piett is a movie trilogy character best associated with the destroyers (even if he was on the Executor for Jedi).
On a final note, so glad to be seeing an AT-TE! That's what I've been waiting for...
I'm thinking the front area would become her arms/torso and the engines would snap together to create legs.
The others are pretty boxy, so it wouldn't be hard to get them to work. We were able to get a Greivous/Bellubab 22 (although there was a giant backpack) so it wouldn't be inconceivable to get Bossk, Kyle, IG-88 and Lando.
But i really think that Thrawn is more deserving of a toy than Pellaeon or Piett.
That, and we haven't had any Ultra's or Voyagers in the SWTF line. Just Deluxes and Supremes.
I wonder if the marvel line will get any larger toys?
Maybe a Galactus or Sentinel.
Even then it wouldn't do that, at least around me, as the Star Wars TF's are with the other Star Wars merchandise. That and we know that the designers who come up with these designs aren't people who would normally be working on Transformer products, so it realistically wouldn't benefit Universe in any way.
A speeder bike. Guess what becomes the handlebars!
