Where did it go? I assume it got purged when Toyfair hit.

anyhoo, I just wanted to say after reading all the reviews of the Luke/X-wing I held off buying it, but after I had a real shitty day I splurged, and an pleasently surprised, he's actually quite a neat figure. Way too much kibble, but not the worst outta the bunch.

I've only got Obi-wan, Vader and Maul to compare him to, but I think he's more fun than the Jedi Starfighter guys, way better than Vader, and perhaps on a par with Maul. (Except my Maul has shitty defective arms).

Hmm. I swore I wouldn't get the Millenium Falcon, but the X-wing might actually swing it. Grumble.

Does your Xwing have floppy wings, or open & close floppily? Mine pretty flopped up on that part ,and it sucks like fat free pudding.

What about you, are you floppy?

They are more addictive than one would think, all the alt modes are pretty much dead on, they are quick to transform, the problem being too much kibble on most of them, i.e. Emperor Palpatine. The best figure in robot mode would probably be Darth Maul for me.

    How's the articulation?

It's released in the Netherlands as well for 40 euros (around 55 dollars I think), and I'm thinking about getting it.

It's good to OK. All joints are present and correct, but top heavy-ness means they're tricky to pose and some of the more kibbly appendages make life a little more difficult than need be.

Otherwise a fantastic set of figures. The Lights and Sounds are ace on a stick!

TT, Huh, I've seen it in Fenwick Brent X, if its good I might pick it up, how much did you pay for it? And I thought you hated Star Wars? ;)

CM, I'm floppy most of the time, except when I see certain things, then I'm not so... wait, what? Oh the X-wing wings, uh yeah, they are kinda floppy, but when placed just right they do sit together, but only really for display.

But I remember in reviews people saying the lower wings don't swing down, but they do, enough to lock s-foils in attack position! Ahem. Anyway, I think he's got a great vehicle mode, and a ok bot mode.

Overall, I'm a huge fan of this line. So far my favorite is the ARC-170. I just love it. The two weakest are Luke/X-Wing and Palps/Shuttle. Each figure has its issues, but still, I love this line and can't wait to get the Falcon ^_^

Stolen from my post in Feedback on the Clone Trooper:

SWTF Rankings for me thus far:

    1. Han & Chewbacca
    2. Darth Maul
    3. Clone Trooper
    4. General Grievous
    5. Emperor
    6. Obi-Wan
    7. Darth Vader
    8. Boba Fett
    9. Luke

I'm not counting the repaints/remolds with Anakin or Jango Fett, partly because I don't have them and partly because I don't need to spend money on the same mold.

I would count Anakin as sepearte because of the different head. I guess my rankings would be:

    1. Han and Chewie
    2. Clone
    3. Maul
    4. Boba/Jango
    5. Anakin
    6. Obi wan
    7. Greivous
    8. Emperor - (this is where they start to go down hill for me)
    9. Vader
    10. Luke

I think that swings it, I'll be trying to grab a Falcon tomorrow methinks... assuming I'm willing to brave the shopping crowds... actually, England vs Portugal tomorrow... equals empty shopping centre... go grab a Falcon, and be back before half time...

    Hmm a plot is hatched!

Radical! So far the Falcon is getting nothing but love!

Really can't wait to get it now.
Have them all but the Falcon so far and the Arc & Maul are still my fav bot modes. Need more Clone Trooper bots. Their heads look better giant sized IMO
    A robo-Yoda sounds scary

Love al the alt modes, especially these

Need some little Imperial guards to go with this one

Tempted to get 3 more Arc Troopers, and give them seeker paintings with Armada seeker heads.

Well, I have the Falcon, and yeah, its better than I thought it would be. Kick ass alt mode, the lights and sounds are great, each half has separate electronics. If you quickly tap the button you get speech or 'Wruuhn!' If you hold the button down you get engine sounds from Chewies half, or gun sounds from Han's half.

Bot modes are posable, but do look a bit cheesy. Still, I'm thoroughly enjoying the SWTF Falcon... who'd have thunk?

I have the 2 Jedi fighters, Palpatine, and the X-Wing. I like them enough. Not overly excited though, which is why I have passed on a bunch. And I saw the Chewy/Han one today and passed. I could bring myself to do it. They looked okay but again, not overly impressed. The best part of the figures is the vehicle modes but I just don't have the space for a giant Falcon.

If I had more money to throw around I'd buy the line for the hell of it, just out of my love for both properties, but as it stands I don't like them enough to spend the money. Maybe one day.
