The May issue of Stuff magazine includes Star Wars Transformers on their "Hell, no" list.

    Thier reason:

"Are we supposed to believe that Vader mated with Optimus Prime? Let's keep our childhood entertainment franchises separate, please."

I still think Star Wars Transformers would have been successful had they made the vehicles turn into ACTUAL Transformers characters and have the SW characters as the pilots.

And have the TF design team doing them. Because they're not anywhere close to Transformers standards quality wise.. or design...

I feel the same. I've stated it many times. The line as it stands doesn't deserve the TF brand name on it, because it's just there for the gimmick itself, which obviously is not exclusive to "The Transformers." X-Wing fighter Starscream would have been way cooler than X-wing fighter Luke :(

At least in theory. If the same people worked on 'em even like that I guess they still could have turned out fugly

I just can't take the ideal of these toys. They are just bad. That is only my opinion though.

I think it's just a matter of the TF side losing out to the SW side. They have a much larger fan base.
