i was actually hoping the clone tank was released together. nada :(

sumbitch. im still transforming him into DS mode since i posted earlier.

edit: gah! were primus and unicron this hard to TF? anyways...

    hes small. supple yet firm.

kinda wish the indetations were in darkey grey as opposed to lighter.

for a moment i considered sparing youre wretched little battle station...

    reandom thoughts:
-as tough as he is to TF in DS mode, the payoff is very satisfying, like you just finished a rubik cube.
-the tie hangars are at the back (2 nos.) so 1 tie is free.
-love the sounds. best thing abt em. i especially like the one in DS mode after the superlaser blast something than DV goes khho khaa khoo khaa. awsum awsum.
-the tie is a bit weird in that the wings are notched in such a way that the pod cant face directly frontal. design error right there.
-i like the box. its great for display = good for MISBers as most SW collectors are. but its not very environmental conscious. besides the space to the right of DV even the back of the box is thickened for some reason.

Okay, I've changed my mind, Death Star Vader is absolute coolcakes. KA's and tikgnat's pics have convinced me.

Is he subject to being scalped? I hope he's still around by the time I get back to Malaysia next week.

One query though: What are the odds of a Star Destroyer SWTF?

On the contrary, I'm enjoying it here so much that I'm starting to dislike my home country. :D

Yeah, Argos has Vader in stock apparently, thanks for the heads up.

Now I have dilemma: What do I bring home from the UK? Movie Leader Megatron, or Death Star Vader? Both are priced at 40 pounds.

Do not be so proud of the technological terror that ILM have constructed. The ability to turn into a vaguely ship shaped thing is insignificant compared to the power of the force, giant chest lasers, and cloth capes.

    EDIT:
D'oh. Of course, ILM designed the death star too, so I'm sort of confusing myself with my attempt to be witty.

    Death Star!

When I left the home country, the drought was pretty much still in effect. No TF Movie figures were to be found anywhere, Megs included.

I am hoping this will not be the case with Vader, but checking eBay Malaysia, it looks like he's a hot figure ripe for scalping...

I have a question - can you keep the cape on to transform him, or does it have to be removed and stored somewhere?

It has to be removed. I personally store my cape in one of the hangers, and store the three TIEs in the other one.

holy crap then either way youre getting screwed by UK pricing, thats almost rm280.

SWTF vader, rm220 is slightly higher priced than leader megs, rm 180. youre call.

Thanks for the info on Vaderstar being on HTS. I used the fall code as well. I also got a free Star wars figure because of the current promotion they're running. Now that's a great deal! Thanks again for the info.
