ok so i was looking to try and find the new Star Trek movie on a website i know but instead i came across something called

Star Wars Revelations - The movie

Its a 50minute movie and is set just after RevengeOfTheSith were Darth Vader is hunting down lost Jedi but its about this woman Jedi who is a Seer or something?

when the hell did this happen!? is this something old George Lucas hide away from the public or somthing?

If you read the production company's FAQ:

"Lucas is a large supporter for fan films, and is very kind enough to let other inspiring artists play in his backyard, as long as you don't try and make money from his hard work, and respectfully so."

Look for Batman Dead End, Worlds Finest, and Troopers on youtube. These are all fan films. There are a lot out there not all good, but several. One group even made Freedy vs Ghostbusters.

George Lucas has said he will not sue or try to close down any fan film, so long as it's nothing pornographic or extremely offensive. He even holds an official yearly fan film awards. I think, at one point, that he's even made sounds and stuff available for use in the films.

Lucas has given permission for parts of the score and some sound effects (lightsabers etc) to be used in fan films, provided they're not released for profit.

I thought Patient J was quite good as well. Not Dark Knight good, but a pretty good take at putting the comic Joker on screen.

The same group made Return of the Ghostbusters as well. Not bad for a fan film...

but yeah, there are dozens of Fan Films out there for many different franchises... some better than others...

No one's mentioned Boba Fett, Jedi Hunter? Best piss-take on Steve Irwin I've ever seen. Aside from Steve himself in Dr Doolittle 2.

I'm pretty sure just Ghost Prime likes to over react a lot...ok a little :)

If there was a new movie it would repace all the cast with CGI images, George Lucas loves it.

    Contract of Evil.

I got a DVD at a toy show years back that had that as well as a few other fan films on it.

The best, of course, being Pulp Phantom.
