I am seriously considering getting one of SW RAH figures.

Initially I intended to pick up one of Votoms DMZ figures, Rabidlydog, probably, but seeing it's not much different from Strikedog I already have, I might wait for the upcoming Scopedog Turbo custom.
If I was sensible and wise I'd save the money for the future, but I am not. So I'm looking for something else to buy.

I am not a huge SW fan, but hearing how articulate those figures are I am really tempted. (You say articulation and I get like, you know) I like the look of them, too, especially Boba (I always thought he looked so badass...Empire Strikes Back was probably my first SW movie).

Does anyone here have the Clonetrooper figure which is out already? How is it like? Is it fun? Because if I get one of those I am going to play with it!
It's a very expensive toy so I don't want to buy it on a whim...

I have the Clonetrooper...its very nice, but Sideshow has a 12" line of figures that I personally find a lot better and at a fraction of the cost. I picked up most of them so far and have been very impressed.

Hmm, I didn't really consider them. Are they posable, too?
I only saw Darth Maul and apprentice Anakin at casefresh (Ausrtalian collectible shop) and they are AU$110. For extra $80 or so I may be able to import a RAH so I thought it wasn't too bad a deal. I'm not too keen on "human" figures to begin with, Troopers and Boba are human, too, I know, but the helmets help :lol

I really want to get the RAH Stormtrooper.
As for extremely poseable 12" figures, Medicom usually has great quality, but
most 12" ultra-poseable run for $100 or more.

This is true. Still not cheap though.

No, it's not cheap :(  But both Sideshow and Medicom are imports to me, so while the cost difference is still there, it's not like $100 difference. I have just calculated and it's more like 55 in US$. It's simply because Sideshow "12 is quite expensive here.

Well it's still a lot, though. But I guess I prefer Boba or a Trooper than Bib Fortuna :lol

I only have 2 RAH's, Asuka and Rei from Evangelion. My only hold up on these is the price, they are insanely nice but I always worry if I'm gonna break them in some way.

What, are they fragile? With that price tag I expect something real durable...
I think I have seen your Evangelion RAHs, though I didn't know what they were back then.

Yeah, I've posted this in the Evangelion toys thread and cool stuff already, so you probably have seen them.

Its not that they are fragile, they do seem quite durable. And the Plug Suits that are sewn on don't seem to have any problems either, its just that the price I paid makes me paranoid about it... like buying a Lambourgini and not wanting to drive it to a car parjk in case it gets scratched, you know?

tik that pic is great :rock  I know what you mean about scratches and such. I get paranoid, too, until my clumsiness actually breaks some parts.

Yeah I didn't know there were so many of them. I would love some Kamen Riders, too. But I think I'd still go for Boba if I'm getting one of those.
