Wow, a monster of a price tag to boot for all 6. I guess it's cheaper then buying them individually for say $30 a pop.

Despite Uncle George trying to milk that cash cow out of his fans...I am getting 4-6 on Bluray regardless... I have to really think about the prequels...

Blu-ray Episodes 4-6 will only be the 1997 Re-Release Cuts, NOT the Original Theatrical Cuts.

been stated many times over to the press for the past 1yr or 2yrs

    Ditto on Theatrical or GTFO.

I can sit releases out for as long as it takes, I've got longer left then Lucas and i've seen OT enougth times to not be bothered if I end up not watching them again at all.

Same here, with the storage capacity of Blu-ray I don't know why we can't get both. Ether way I really can't get excited about SW anymore, as much as I loved this franchise growing up they've just dropped the ball too many times over the past decade and change for me to care anymore.

I have the OT on DVD. But I may be tempted to get this as long as 4-6 have the theatrcal versions. The DVD did, so there's no reason the Blu-ray can't.

I am a big SW fan, and I do prefer theatrical than the SE, but it's bluray. It's going to look AMAZING. How can you not buy it? I think amazon even has it on preorder already.

Pre-order it af Amazon. The complete set is $90, but they don't charge your card until the order is shipped, which looks like sometime in September. If by then you still don't have the cash, you can cancel without penalty.

I have the 04' release of 4-6 movies and then FULL screen dvd's which you don't see anymore of 1-3 movies. I really miss FULL screen compared to widescreen cause unlike alot of others like myself I CAN'T afford a LCD tv so having widescreen is stupid in blu-ray for me but blu-ray in fullscreen well now your talking with SD tv settings.
