My brother’s looking for a 40th R2-D2. If you use GameStops website & do a search for it & your location, a few come up in stock (just not upstate NY) If anyone comes across one & wants to help out, PM me. I think they’re on clearance, because he was able to get Han, Luke & Obi Wan in the area for $11.88 each.
At this point the only way I can hope to get an R2-D2 for my Black Series display is for Hasbro to re-release him, I got everyone else in the 40th line not an exclusive but he is going for stupid prices right now its aggravating. Would of liked to get the R4(2?) unit that was an exclusive at Gamestop too but thats what you get for coming into the hobby late.
Give GameStops website a try. R2 is still listed, use the store availability tab & see what comes up.
Model kit R2 comes with an R4 and is arguably better than the Black series. Definitely more in scale with BS figures too. Just an option suggestion.
