What platforms and modes does everyone here play this on? Seems like a few of us play consistently so why not play together if possible?

I play xbox one and mostly galactic assault and jump into starfighter assault when the mood strikes. Occasionally the other modes but not too often

 

Xbox one and I play the two Assault modes exclusively... Unless there's a daily reward for playing a different mode

I main heavy and use officer as a backup. Yoda main on HvV and a toss between Vader and Palps for the darkside.

 

Should be a patch releasing sometime next week. This is a glimpse of what the patch will contain, though the full notes will be released with the patch....the SCS un-nerf is a nice surprise.

• General Improvements and Bug Fixes ( Duplicate SC credits, Blaster glow, lightsaber glow, color-blind settings tweak, performance and stability changes, and more)
• and more...

I want to highlight that while some key Known Issues will be addressed in this update, a lot of them will not, the team is very much working to address them, and we hope to bring that list to zero items in the near future.

Full detailed patch notes will be revealed upon the release of update 1.2, and we look forward to discussing the changes in more detail at that time.

Boba needs balancing, palpatine needs a bit of a buff( or im using him wrong) and the wall fix, iden, lando, yoda, and phasma all need buffs, luke, and vader need balance as well .but rey and bossk are fine. Havent played as kylo in a while.

Seems the only thjng that they nerfed on the blurrg was the explosive shot .its still a pretty powerful gun. Better than the se-44c imo .

 

So im thinking season wise, well get one with new hereoes in march, and then an off month for aprol, and then a solo season in may without heroes

 

That's what I'm feeling too. I wonder if they'll make a skin for the Falcon when Solo releases. I can see that new TIE being a new hero ship for the Imperials, maybe even Grievous' fighter.

You know, I'm really surprised they never included the B-wing as a usable ship! They could include it as sort of a reinforcement unit like the Wookie warrior and jump troopers! Hell, give the Imperials the TIE Defender for.the same role! (No joke, I'd love to see someone maneuver a B-Wing through the Endor debris field. It's tricky enough in an X-wing!)

 

Yea, i don't see any new characters being released .just skins and some ships .

Hopefully the microtranasations return is just for the skins and stuff. Cosmetic only .

Hawaii is introducing a bill to make loot boxes illegal.

 

I so wanna play this game but just don't want to pay Amazon price for it. Now if it would go down to 25$ i could see it. Maybe around fall this yr the price will be much better. Seeing I'm not a multiplayer type of person and don't have psn plus that saves a good penny.

 

Hopefully by then, they will beef up the single player. As it is currently, there's not much of a single player to keep a person busy. It's a bit boring actually.

There's currently talk of Starfighter assault being added to the single player which would be nice since there's a learning curve to piloting ships. It would be easier learning offline rather than getting frustrated after crashing into debris constantly.

There's also been some talk of conquest coming back and expanding the arcade to have more "epic" solo battles as the devs put it, but there is no date set for that yet. Also, there's been talks of beefing up the solo arcade AI...which would be nice considering even on expert difficulty they just file in and stand and shoot.

Heroes vs Villains is probably the best game mode, but the match making is pretty bad. You either get steamrolled or do the steamrolling. Arcade does not prepare you for good players very well./

 

Crait is the most fun map. Got to play as four heroes on the resistance side and two on the first order.

New Hawaiian Bill Goes After Loot-Based Systems In Gaming

So they could have Loot boxes, but not in star wars games.
And if it passes expect other states to jump on, then the industry will try some kind of self correcting movement so they can stop this kind of thing from going federal just like they did with mortal Kombat back in the 90's.

 

Ehh.. Anyone under 21 would make the games AO.

Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft don't allow AO games on their systems. Look at manhunt 2 as an example.

A shitload of games in Aus get rated R18+ (Effectively the same thing) and the issue as I understand is that Wal-Mart does not allow such games to be sold in its stores and that’s the biggest single point of sale for them.

I mean MS and Sony can cut out that middleman and sell direct via their digital storefronts, start running exclusively through GameStop or finding a multimedia and electronics retailer - JB HiFi are an Australia example - who are happy to do so and start using them too.

 

However... at least in the US *though it could change*. Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft won't license them to be on the systems.

Again, look at the old Manhunt 2 fiasco.
