May 25th - the 40th anniversary of the first Star Wars Movie hitting theatres in America, spawning what is probably the biggest science-fiction story/franchise in history.
And it has been big enough to cross over into other Brands, including Transformers, with a series of crossover toys released during 2005 to 2012.
This is my collection of SWTFs (missing 2 from the final year), for other fans to remember/relive the different ones that were released by Hasbro, or to learn about them for the first time.

Those were what got me back into Transformer collecting. Sadly the first figures had a lot of GPS and yellowing issues. My poor Luke X-Wing disintegrated.

There have been times during the Clone Wars where Transformers was more profitable, but at this point it has to be the most successful and widespread.

Its based on Gilgamesh the first book ever, that also inspired all successive mythology for religions in the 'west'. Some (anthropologists) argue its the first important step towards complex society (mythology). Regardless, it isn't surprising that mythology seems more fascinating than religion in an atheist society. It provides a general collective direction rather than a series of rules to respect. Mythology is about creating culture while religion about preserving it.
