E3 2012: Star Wars: 1313 Officially Announced - IGN

Not too big on it being cover based, but still, I am hyped.

 

I imagine they'll go for a Mass Effect kind of game, which wouldn't be too bad IMO.

 

"1313" implies that Boba Fett will be involved, but that seems like something they'd say right off the bat.

Sound a lot like the old Bounty Hunter game, though. I'm interested.

Knowing Lucasfilm, that has to be a reference to something. This game has me interested though, I really want to see more.

This will probably just by your typical action game developed by Lucas Arts and the bunch. I've got high hopes, but don't expect anything revolutionary in the gameplay.

CT-1313 was an alias that Boba Fett used when he was confronted by a clone somewhere. As Boba Fett is a clone, he didn't want to expose his identity.

 

I hope you can upgrade the character. So eventually you can make him look like your typical Bounty Hunter

Between the "1313" and the mention that you play a bounty hunter in the underworld of Coruscant, I'd say they couldn't clue you in any further that it is Boba.

 

I really dont think that you play as Boba Fett as others have speculated. Remember, this is LucasArts. Disappointment is the norm for them these days, and the character that they already featured looks nothing like Fett. Also, this is not a new TIE Figheter, KOTOR, Battlefront, Jedi Knight, or even Shadows of the Empire, so it is hard to get excited for yet another generic looking Star Wars game.

 

And 1313 refers to the "underworld" of Coruscant which is on the 1,313th level beneath the surfact of the planet. Personally I hope Boba Fett has nothing to do with this.

 

If Boba Fett is the main character I'm all for it. I just hope it's not a major disappointment like Force Unleashed 2... *cringes*

 

I still have no clue as to what genre this game belongs to..

 

I'm interested and I can't wait to hear more news. I am worried that the game could be bad though.

I'm interested. Sounds like the Bounty Hunter game that came out on the PS2, which I still have to this day.
