I am in the middle of a trade and I am curious as to what the worth of a mint Star Saber is. I am trading cobra figures for it but I would like to know how many it is worth (I can calculate this by a price range on the star saber).

It is the 1989 victory one and it is minty white. It comes with the brainmaster (also minty white)and red plane but it is missing the gun, sword and the hilt (plane front end). It is loose so no box, instructions or styro. Finally it has no stickers on it (not sure which are factory if any but none that I can see on the white plane front thus I am asking for pics of the back etc. there are some on the red plane.) For sure no stickers in the front (autobot logos or others). So it looks like stickers where never applied to it.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I got a BEAUTIFUL (perfect condition, stickers unapplied, all paperwork present, mint in mint box) Starsaber at Botcon last year for $275. They're there if you shop around a bit. So I wouldn't pay too much for a loose one with no accessories at all, to be honest. What is he after in trade?

I'd agree with what Draven pricewise.

As for the speciffic Star Saber in question.

The upside: Repolables do a repalcement sticket set for Star Saber.

The downside: (Assuming you don't already have the parts in question) it's going to take you a while to get the parts that are missing.

The chrome on the blade is rather delicate, and the way it is stored in jet mode means it is subject to wear, so finding a decent blade will be no mean task.

I'd be inclined to say it's worth $100 tops.

The front of the plane can be acquired off of a KO of the jet section, although it's not good for the sword, just for completing the jet modes.
I wouldn't pay over the odds for it, parts for Victory Transformers are hard to come by. It might be better even to hang fire for now until one with more parts turns up.

nope, don't do it, not with that stuff. he'd definitely be getting the better deal, and like most others have said, you'll have a tough time finding the parts to complete the star saber.

Would keep the Joes, and save up around 300$ to be safe , and just sit on the money until a complete mib one comes along.
They usually do and people bang their heads for not having the cash at the time.

That looks about a 160$ worth of Cobras there and agree with LK about the value of the Saber you're getting
That hooded CC is worth about 20$ if he's in good shape w gun, and Tomax and Xamot alone is worth a nice chunk of the trade.

Ideally, that would be the best thing to do; Star Saber is a little pricey, but it's one of the easier JP toys to get a hold of.
