I've seen very little of the old animes and what i've see was kind of dumb.

But even i think star saber should get something.
Is there a third party star saber anywhere?
    A worlds smallest?
Is hasbro goingto do anything with him?

As far as I know he's got a kabaya transformers toy and the old G1 and that's it. Is he going to get any love soon?

Yah,the Robotmaster Star Sabre is the more budget since we can't afford the vintage Star Sabre.

Check out Energon WingSaber. Hes an awesome homage to Star Saber. He has some of the worst articulation of any TF in my collection, but it was a design choice, as he doubles as an upgrade for Optimus. I love mine.

I have the vintage Star Saber, love him

Anyways I think rather than making 10453 Optimus Prime and 3421 Star Scream, this guy deserves a MP treatment already.

I will forever regret not buying a vintage star saber for £70 two years ago. I had the money and viewed it so many times over 3 weeks at a comic store in london. Do you realise how cheap that is!!! I went one day, walked out THEN about an hour later finally decided to pull the trigger and by then it was gone! After all that time!

Robot Master is the way to go. It even combines with RM Victory Leo so you're only really missing the Brain Master gimmick.

he really does need an update. maybe the next batch of classics figures will have him in it. he'd make a cool voyager.

I don't even care if he comes with the booster parts, just make him a red plane and I'll be good. Bonus points if has a brainmaster and a cockpit for him to sit in.

This is one of the few desirable oldies that I've managed to get my hands on...bought a MISB Star Saber and Victory Leo for ~$100 apiece back in 2000. I've been glad I did it ever since. And yes, I opened them and displayed them, though I never bothered with putting the stickers on.

I'd love to see a Classics release, but only at a larger size class than Deluxe.

I'd buy a Voyager, but he'd have to at LEAST have the Saber + armor = Star Saber feature, if not the Brainmaster feature itself.

Wouldn't mind a more realistic alt-mode, too. Or at least just better looking. It can be Cybertronian, just... look less like a folded up boxy robot.

Side note: Does the RM SS KO at Family Dollar/Big Lots/etc. have the Saber feature?

If you want Star Saber, you could rob TJ Omega, though I'm sure he'd kill you.

Give me 2 leaders. That's the only way to make starsaber.

    1 leader for Star Saber
    1 leader for Victory Leo.

He isn't voyager class. He FOUGHT against Liokaiser, and along side of Landcross and Road Caesar.

Voyager or leader class Star Saber, but then the US market probably wouldnt buy him or at least a lot of him.

I would recommend the robot masters versions. I had those for a long time before I got an opportunity to get MISB originals at MIB price (that I cut open!).

Also, check dollar stores - there's a KO of the RM set that shows up there. I bought one to replace my broken sword handle from my original RM version. The KO is the typical cheap-ass crappy plastic, but what do you expect for like $8.

Did it have the splitting into Saber and the back of the jet feature?

Honestly, I was always surprised that this character hasn't made a reappearance through the years. He looks cool and has an awesome character design. You'd have figured that he'd have been re-introduced into one of the cartoons by now.
