I wonder why Micheal Bay havent decided to have Stan Bush make the albums for TF Live Movies, I mean he did a very good job back in the days TF:TM like: The Touch, Dare ect. Anybody knows why?
He didn't think that sound quite fit the tone of the movies he was making. I would have loved to have heard "The Touch" somewhere as an homage though, maybe playing on a radio.
He made a song for War for Cybertron video game , and there was another song for the new movies. Dream the Dream or something.
Actually Till All Are One was made for BotCon not WFC and I don't think Dream the Dream or You're time was meant to be in the movie's. I think the second and third versions of the touch were made for the First and second films.
Stan's problem is that he hasn't grown or evolved as an artist. He just continuously tries to recreate what gave him success in the past. I Loved what his music added to the 86 film, but it's very dated.
It's a bit like saying why didn't Christopher Nolan get Prince to contribute to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Times just change I guess.
And maybe something to do with the fact that Stan Bush is a complete f'ing joke of a washed up has-been "musician" who should just stick to doing bad cover songs in shit bars with all the rest of his middle aged soccer dad peers.
Because Michal Bay has no taste. I'd much rather have Stan Bush than Linkin Park and Smashing Pumpkins.
Nah, I just think the guy has made a pathetic embarrassment of himself ever since he started popping up with these god awful YouTube music videos over the last few years where he plays air guitar attempting to look all "hardcore" with Bay's TF movies as the backdrop. Not to mention all his "news" about trying to get tracks approved for any of the soundtracks, which sure enough, never happened. The guy had his run with the animated movie, and he should have left it at that. On a high note. But his constant begging & pleading to get acknowledged for the new movies just stinks of desperation. And honestly, as hard pressed as I am to admit that anything could be worse than Nickelback musically - it is indeed outdated cheese schlock rock like Stan Bush. It blows my mind that more than 3 people in the entire modern world would actually listen to his stuff willingly, let alone actually think it should have been on the new soundtracks. Or I dunno... maybe he DOES owe me money...
