Stan Bush attending Botcon 2009!!/Music to be in upcoming Transformers toys?

    Hello everyone,

    Tformers.com has put up an audio interview with Stan Bush, in which he stated that he is in discussion with Hasbro to possibly incorporate his music into some upcoming Transformers toys! :D 

    To top it all, he stated that he will also be attending Botcon 2009! :D 

    He also adds that he will be making a military video with "The Touch" to support the troops!

    I would have been a little unexcited had I not been witness to Stan putting on a really great show at Botcon '07. Looking forward to seeing him next year! :D

    Sooooo I'm guessing they already have a date for Botcon 09 then. Can't see Stan committing without knowing a date. Now if only we can find that info and where it's gonna be at. :rolleyes2

    that would be cool if the touch was in the talking autobot emblem in the upcoming Optimus Prime set.

    Music in Transformers? Eh...I'll have to see how they do it.

    But I did have a fucking blast at his show last year.

    Or they gave him a half-dozen different weekends as possibilities, and he's keeping his schedule open for all of 'em. I sorta kinda doubt he's that much busier than the average poster here.

    Sounds interesting. I'll more than likely not be able to go next year (depending on when it is, where it is, and how much extra cash I have). Music in TF's sounds interesting, but I'll have to wait and see what they do with it. Would be cool to get new molds of Soundwave and Blaster that have a song or two built into them.

    They were both at Botcon 07, which was, in my opinion the best yet, the Hasbro tour would be hard to outdo, and if you were lucky enough to go, I think most would agree.

    Not a big fan of Stan Bush, for those who are, more power to 'em. I'm VERY intrigued on what this whole "music integration into the toys" means, though...

    Seems the most likely candidate for the music would be that Autobot emblem thingy in the 25th anniversary Optimus, in the same vein as the logo sound-boxes in the Gi-Joe sets. A decent music clip or two along with some good Peter Cullen lines could make that stupid box pretty dang desirable.

    Bastards keep working to make me buy YET ANOTHER G1 Prime toy.

    Yeah... that G1 Prime set could be pretty darn good if done properly.

    I'm still upset that we aren't getting the DVD though.
