Wait. Why is his chest like that? Its not accurate at all...

Also, his arm actually transforms from the hand to the cannon!

Dang. I really hope Alien Attack is working on this one as well. I'm so excited for all the great 3P toys!

Sector Zero Toys confirmed that AlienAttack will release this one! But it won't be regular deluxe size

Do you know what size it will be? I assumed they all be the same size.

I don't know, but my guess is something between deluxe and voyager, a little taller than original Battle Blades:

    For me it's pretty accurate

...Hmm. Looks to be inspired by Double Blaster Bumble by savio-prime. Ah, good times. Good times...

Looks like it does the legs better, but the backpack not so much... I like the guns though.

Because '07/ROTF Bumble's chest parts split slightly more than DOTM/TLK Bumble's. So it is accurate.

    Aww...

I never had battleblades, but I think that would be a good size when compared to Leader or MPM Optimus. Do you know the cm for BB Bee?

As a disclaimer, I collect the cars in HA scale due to their higher quality, but the 3P toys are proving that the same high quality can be achieved at deluxe scale. This is slowly turning me into a scale whore lmao

The parts circled in red are accurate, but the part circled in white is very much not accurate.

Edit: They could do something similar to what Nitro Bee does with that gray flap that covers the chest. Just put fake kibble there that resembles the cgi model. Screenshot_2017-04-29-13-33-46~2.png

Going off Red Goblin's scale chart, Bumble's head should reach just under Optimus's crotch. Comparing Battle Blade Bumble to my APS01-U right now, the top of Bumble's head crest reaches to the top of that cylindrical thing on OP's crotch, but the Leader OP's proportions are different from the ILM model - the CGI has longer legs and a shorter torso, so it's not necessarily accurate. To me, it looks like the unmodded BBBB is in proper scale with the average Leader OP.

    And I'm sorry, but I can't find a ruler right now. :(

I'm looking at Battle Blade Bumble right now, and I can't figure out a way to get the white circled parts to collapse into the chest beyond making an entirely new hinge they're attached to. IMO, having the white parts hinged slightly downward makes for an acceptable approximation of them collapsing inward, as an illusion at least.

I suppose you're right, but they still just look weird to me.

Alright, I'll take your word for it since I don't own any deluxes. From the pictures, it does seem like the average deluxe BB is too small, so BBBB is probably the best scale. I'd like to see all the 3P cars to be around that size, but with a second class at HA size to appease those collectors. I know we can't have both for each model, but it would be nice to get some consistency.

It's because they're rotating the parts waaay too much. They should only be rotated ever so slightly, about two millimeters or so. Moving them to that extreme does indeed make him look weird.

Yeah, I do hope that the HA scale gets some more love, even if I don't collect it. I know there's a lot of people who like comparing them to the Alternators/Binaltech line, and there's that awesome WeiJiang Evasion OP KO which scales very nicely with HA from what I've seen, though I sold mine to a friend a while back because I'm a scale Nazi.

I do kind of miss it.

Well, I plan on hoarding HA size class toys while buying these 3P deluxes. If one size gets the full cast treatment, I'll sell off the other. That's my plan anyway.

    Yeah, makes sense.

Well, if we ever get a 3P Supreme Class Grindor, cut off a rotorblade and there's your HA Blackout. :p

LOL well, I'm only referring to the cars. Leaders can have a bit of leeway, but it seems like TF Dream Factory is planning to do things at correct scale for leader sized figures.

Ah well. It's a losing proposition anyway. No way we will ever get the entire cast in scale with each other lol.

Seems so, but who knows? The HA line is in scale with the MP line, right? If we start getting 3P HAs, they might get support from MP fans who like the movies.

Well, not MPM Prime. Bumblebee is about 2 inches too tall.

To be fair, making the parts you've circled in white form like that is virtually impossible on something this small. Plus, ya know.. movie magic and what not.
