I thought the Wei Jiang Battle Hornet was basically the same thing?

Wise man say: one cannot buy what doesn't exist on the market. Unless you have buttloads of cash. And a mausoleum.

Don't worry, nothing will ever be as atrocious as that

I respect errybody's taste (even if it's not my fetish), but WJ BB just isn't my cup of tea for the following reasons
    • inaccurate long running stripes and bottom red bumper lights
    • OS wheelbase doesn't look elegant. I think maybe the front fender got enlarged too much
    • sacrifice, but no victory. All the design ideas such as fractured windows, splitting car front, and the exposed pins on the side don't really do too much for me. Its biggest draw originally was what @savio-prime already did elegantly with the rear lights. For some reason though, I've never seen any reviewer/photographer position BH's rear lights accurate to the CGI model, so I've just assumed it's not possible on the toy. I've also seen BH's idea already done originally and with better execution. It just doesn't add anything new for me, but again I'm among those who find limited appeal in BBB

This is fair. However, even though the battle mask (for me) doesn't look as good as the MP version, and the car mode is a bit chunky, shall we say, the painted details and the price is still compelling. Mind you, the latest ko bb is "fully painted" and looks better than the Takara version.

also, Don't forget about how the head looks even worse than the st studio bumblebee. They didn't even try to fix the originals' mest up battle axe and the chest is worse than mpm's chest. The only thing I like is the is it has rubber tires.

The mpm3 chest is actually pretty good. Even though its not at all accurate really, its still far better proportioned than any movie Bee figure we've gotten.

the original concept Camaro got that right. maybe not accurately but proportioned better. It also got the colors and vehicle mode correctly.

It's highly based on savio-prime's custom, obviously scaled up some. This custom takes it all a little further, but leaves a few things different, such as leaving the taillights on the calves but folded down, and the transforming arm cannons.

Edit: this has been mentioned already. :lol

He'll look great next to my LegendaryToys Prime ;)

Edit: Wait, he'll go into production right?

Holy crap! Yes!! He looks fantastic with Firage!! :rock

I would prefer his DOTM chest but for a Bumblebee figure this looks amazing! Definitely going to replace this with my old Bumblebee.

Those look very nice together! Great size. I still think MPM Bee has better proportions, but I'll still want to get this

I 100% agree with this! Bonus: he will scale in vehicle mode with MPM-04 Optimus Prime!
Glad to see as update on this guy, hope that we won't have to wait long.

Yes! I can't wait to put those together. He should look great with Ironhide as well. For someone who's become obsessed with scale, it's really frustrating to have definitive characters in different size classes. I like MOM Bumblebee more, but then it won't work with Firage. Plus, the updated MOM Prime that we saw glimpses of might be upscaled to scale with MOM Bee, but then it won't with MOM Ironhide nor Firage. This is all so difficult lol

I have 3 different size collections because of scales, so I completely understand! I try not to let it bother me, but when I get a group of bots that all scale nearly perfectly, it is an amazing feeling! So I'm excited to add this guy and Firage to my collection since they will look great with my custom Sidearm Sideswipe, voyager Ratchet, and MPM Prime. They will look beautiful together!

I've seen your Ratchet, but I'm not sure I've seen your Sideswipe. I'll have to search your threads lol
