Playarts are pretty good quality figures. I have a lot of the FF figures but haven't broken down to go outside that. Snake looks great though, and while Chris Redfield does as well, I'm pretty satisfied with my Neca Chris Redfield.

As far as my favorites go, I would say #1 would have to be Gabranth. Squall is excellent as well. Lightning, Snow, and Sahz are all great (the ones I have from 13) but Snow definitely sacrifices some aesthetics for articulation in the arms. They're really usually pretty good at integrating the articulation without those kind of issues. However, Vincent is a good example where they should have sacrificed some of the look since his cape really renders his shoulders almost useless.

Can anyone comment on the two Star Ocean play arts?

I've been playing a lot of Last Hope, and I suddenly have a desire to get them now.

Dammit, this thread makes me want to finish collecting the FF7 Advent Children figures. I still need Vincent, Tifa, and Reno.

And after watching the trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2, I have decided that my new favorite action figure that I don't own and doesn't exist is the Play Arts Kai figure of the new Lightning that will almost certainly be made. It better be made....

Hey guys, I have an Advent Children Cloud MISB, I wanted to sell him. Does anyone know how much he is worth?

The only one I could find on ebay was $70, and I don't think he's worth that much O_O.

I'd be pretty surprised if you could get much for him, considering you can get a brand new AC Cloud WITH a pretty awesome bike for around $50, new, nowadays.

You know what they need to make? Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Play Arts. Specifically, the characters from The Crystal Bearers.

The game wasn't exactly well-received over in the states, but the designs of the characters were absolutely awesome and a total treat to watch. If there were versions of Layle, Amidatelion, Jegran, and Keiss or Belle, I would leap on them.

It would be nice if they could just make all the main characters into figures for ONE of the Final Fantasy games (okay, besides XIII). I mean, would it have killed them to make Cid or Barrett? Or Basch or Fran?

Get the NECA ones, then? They're ~6" sized. There's a couple of microman scaled ones as well for the 3.85" crowd.

I need to remember to pick up Snake sometime...a local import store I go to has Snake for 49.99, not sure if that could be considered a decent price or not, by Import store standards.
