Folks: This guy is currently starring in my Blurry Robot Theater, and is the result of a bunch of coincidences and a few half-baked ideas: 1. Spychangers are cool...how can they be given more play value? 2. TF Built To Rule was disappointing, Joe BTR was nifty. 3. Hey, K mart has cheap Lego clonebricks in olive drab! Workmanship is...debatable,but I think the concept works well. Reference image: http://www.tfw2005.com/radicons-customs/attachment.php?attachmentid=4103&stc=1&d=1207670252 Carblast is equipped with two door hardpoints QD and one roof hardpoint QR. Accessories shown above are: a-Ion Thrusters/Cannons, b-Twin Beam Cannon (swivel base), c-Transdimensional Radio Unit, d-Rocket Pods, e-Caterpillar Treads. A lot of modes are available by rearranging or reattaching these elements. For instance: Patrol Carblast - QD:a,a; QR:d,d. Can be placed as desired in bot mode Armor Carblast - QD:e,e; QR:b. Not really meant for bot mode. Treads provide stable platform for heavy turret cannon. (I neglected to photograph this one) Carblast Heavyarms - Absurdly overgunned mode using all parts - start with Armor Carblast and add all remaining weapons and radio unit. Recon Carblast - QD:a,a; QR:c. Has radio for communications and thrusters for quick getaways and short flights. Radio pack is reconfigured slightly for bot mode (antenna moved) Carblast with Tank Drone - QR: d,d. All other parts assembled into radio-controlled tank drone. Useful for backup, exploration, and times when Carblast's Power Tie (TM) is at the cleaners' and he can't use it to access subspace storage.
