So the Cybertron Evac mold has returned in two forms, Springer in green and Blades in red.

    Which is better?

We already have a toy discussion forum down a bit, but since I'm here, I voted Blades.

EDIT: Shit! I selected the wrong one!

Dunno, really. It's an awesome mould either way. My Evac's been rechristened as Blaze Master, but of the two new redecoes, I'd probably go with Blades simply because he's more in tune with his G1 self, and that's kinda the point of Classics. Barring the face (which could use a retool to make it younger looking), Energon Bulkhead is far closer to a Springer homage for my money.

As much as I love Springer, the Evac mold works better with Blades's colors as a repaint.

Got to go with Blades but it is close.

I go with Energon Bulkhead as my stand-in for a "Classics" Springer but I would prefer a proper triple changer for Springer in Classics/Universe. I would also prefer a Blades in Universe/Classics that is a limb for Defensor. I know neither will happen so that is why I picked up the C. Evac repaint for Blades and the repaint for Springer will promptly go into storage after I pick it. I wouldn't get it all but I really like the Ratbat figure. Damn you Hasbro!

Blades is a vastly superior paint to Springer.

Blades. I like Blades' character better. Springer's cool, but should be a triple changer.

I think both color schemes are great and they're on one of the best Cybertron molds...I'm buying both.

Springer's actual layout with Blade's colours would've been best, though. As he has more detail paint apps.

I'm going for Springer..just because Blades to me..it just isn't Blades unless it's a combiner as far as I'm concerned. Although I guess the same could be said about Springer considering the EVAC repaint is not a triple changer.

They're both triple-changers. Blades has an ... arm ... mode. :lol

(ya, I know, leg mode too)

Blades. I don't mind gestalt team members being seperated, but Springer really should be a triple changer.

I vote Springer, unless Hasbro decides to come out with an actual triple changer Springer then I'll recant my vote.
