Coming June 2008!
I'm looking forward to this, and that Wheelie 4 life is a nice touch
That should be pretty cool, it would be nice to know a little more about wheelie.
I'll get this issue, if only to get a glimpse of what could have been done for the character in the '86 movie and third season of G1. Really liking that CD cover, too.
As much as I hate Wheelie that cover is hilarious!
Ok I have not questioned any of the "Spotlights" characters but this one I am not so sure about!?! Either the Transformers community hates or really hates this character, however if anyone can make this character relevant it is Mr. Furman!!! I just hope at the end of the issue he is not left guarding the base!
Let the coutdown begin as to when this hits the store........and I am hoping for the best!!!!!
I might actually get this.
Oh God. Please don't turn Wheelie into a gangsta.
Personally I'd like to see his original profile expanded upon; him being the sole survivor of an Autobot ship that crash landed. I always thought there was some good mileage to be had from that. Think about it; a feral, wild Wheelie trying to survive on the Quintesson homeworld could be a great book to read.
There is nothing anyone can ever do to make me like Wheelie.
Lame. Seriously, there's a reason nobody likes Wheelie, because he sucks.
I really find it weird/dumb when they try and give boring G1 characters "cool" backstories.
If it features the kind of shenanigans as in your sig, I'm all over it.
Agree with the first sentence completely. Disagree with the second sentence completely as well.
Normally I wouldn't care but they could have used the Spotlight issue to focus on any character other than Wheelie. What about a Starscream Spotlight or an Ironhide Spotlight? Wheeljack? Skywarp? The list goes on and on. I guess the main thing that bothers me is not a Wheelie Spotlight but a lack of "Anyone else instead of Wheelie" Spotlight
*throws up the dub*
If every page had Wheelie being killed somehow I'd buy it and enjoy it. Other than that, I'm at a loss as to why we're getting Wheelie in the first decade of TF Spotlights.
That CD rules all.
I think its going to be alot like Spotlight: Kup, you know? The whole lone Autobot slowly going nuts. This could be AWESOME. The reason Wheelie is Wheelie is because of a mind that degenerates with each hopeless situation
I don't know, this is exactly the kind of stuff that I get excited over, taking old stuff that was "retarded" and re imagining it to be awesome. Like the new He-man cartoon, or the Transformers movie and the upcoming Speed Racer movie to a lesser extent (the source material was already pretty nifty, but I think you get my point).
I'll say it again, WAY more interesting than Grimlock or Prime or Megatron.
Is....he throwing up the "shocker" handsign?
