This scene is probably RIGHT AFTER the scene with the yellow school bus, as seen in the earlier trailer. Thus, Sam launches the powerglove sticky bomb and it explodes, and while Screamer leaps away, Sam gets thrown into mid air because he's still stuck to SS due to the powerglove hook...and eventually SS crashes onto that building as seen in this shot. DOESN'T seem like Starscream's death scene to me.
I'd say I doubt it, only because the focus here is on Bumblebee. To kill Starscream, who's been in all movies with speaking roles, would need to be a focus shot not a background action.
There is definitely a bot behind Starscream But you can also see that bot's foot as Starscream is falling. It is kinda hard to see, but... From the shape of the foot, it could be Optimus, Shockwave or Megatron. But Starscream's shape of the foot is also 2 fingered. But still I don't think it could be his. And about Starscream trying to grab the guys that are falling. His arm is too limpy.
Not to mention, isnt' Carly with Sam during the school bus scene? Where did she go and when did Lennox get with Sam?
Yeah, that is without a doubt Starscream's hand and foot. Furthermore, you can see one of his chest panels has been blown outward while he's standing on the roof, and then hanging freely when he collapses over the side of the building.
Hey you guys, look in the trailer again. As Sam and Lennox are being thrown from the building, you see a robot right behind Starscream's right shoulder, right before Bumblebee flips. I'd say there's someone behind Starscream who was either with him when he was confronting Sam and Lennox ontop of that building, or is ripping him to shreds. EDIT: Damn, beat me to it.
There we go. I think the arm and foot people are seeing IS another robot but we can't see behind Starscream because he didn't lay off the Twinkies! I base that not on the way they look but the way they move. They just don't look like they are part of Starscream and not chunks being blow off. I'm reminded of the shot of Demolishor's head being blasted in the ROTF trailer and everyone guessing what it was.
The only one obvious is Bumblebee. AND people can identify the humans? IF it is Sam, and IF it is Starscrem, and IF it is Screamer's demise, then it is not Lennox- but that Eddie guy who blows off S-Scream's head.
The first frame was the first shot in the scene that caught my eye because I saw Starscream's split groin. I don't know any other Decepticon who shares the same design. I chose the second frame because I thought it gave us the best view of Starscream. After reading the comments, I see many people agreed. In the 5-10 seconds when the scene plays, THIS shot gives us the clearest view of his tattooed arm, shoulder 'fins', and left breast-piece. Every other frame had him obscured by smoke and fire.
It's pretty clearly Sam, Starscream and Lennox. Sam's got the glove, that chest bandolier thingy. Starscream is in really bad shape I'll post a gif in a sec.. (he falls off the building backwards) Lennox is dressed the same as well. I'll try to slow the gif down or highlight just Starscream and post it when I'm done.
It is. If, you watch the scene a few times, you can clearly make out the triangular outline of his body, and his arm.
